What did you do to your Skoda today?

I checked the vcds scan that JB did the other day.

Are you looking at the right thing Adz as that's nothing like any of the versions of the part number listed in Simbo's link earlier.

no he shown me them i could always pop down as he only lives less that a mile away  :D

... filled up the washer fluid ... ;-)

I gave the old'uns VRS a damned good clean inside, under the bonnet & outside, then I carefully (mostly) sanded the very edge of the wheels (Black giugiaros) where the thin bright alloy bit had some old kerbing damage which had gone black & unsightly, then polished & brushed them in with some fresh lacquer, also touched up the scuffs in the painted section & it's really cheered the wheels up. Also ever since they got the car I've noticed a few patches where someone has tried to rub out or even wet flat some marks & made a right balls of it so I set about it with some Menzerna compound & the marks are now invisible.......................................then the heavens opened & now the whole car is covered in yellow fallout :|

Fitted front mud flaps, boot and all interior LED’s

Fitted all the loom for the footwell lights .... but the VCDS coding has changed so I am waiting on Ross-Tech now.

Then I coded:

Bluetooth connection bong disabled

DRL’s dim when indicating

CH / LH using front fogs

CC speed display (don’t expect this to work though as it’s a TDi)

Large digital MPH display ‘Australia mod’

Easy entry - the electric seat slides all the way back when you open the door

Ah the beer gut mod. :P

Correct; tried activating on mine but no dice - nothing different happens with CC engaged.

Finished a trip and got her over 300 000 :Dja5una7a.jpg

Finally got Pasty badges in place after my first full clean and polish after losing the first set I ordered  :(

Finished up with a coat of Collinite afterwards. Car finally looks well looked after.

Decided to have a "balls of steel" moment and updated the Columbus firmware to 4120 and the maps to v10. Then loaded a load of music onto the HDD and finally put my speed camera POIs on too.

Paid for another year's insurance and (hopefully) booked a visit to Shark HQ.

Took the car in to the dealers as it had been booked in after i found my RHS roller button on the steering wheel rolled ok but wouldn't select anything or work when pushed in. New set of three buttons fitted free of charge as it was obviously like it when i collected the car last week. (Should have been £140 for the buttons!!!)

Tried and failed yet again to fix the fuse issue. Honestly, what the **** does the VW 3L engine have against the Felicia chassis? The engine worked perfectly with the Felicia adaptation in the bench. Now that its inside the car, it blows fuses left and right.

Found out my Columbus had a 40gb hard drive fitted at manufacture rather than 30gb. :)

Gave it a quick wipe over with detailer and then Rain-X'd the windscreen and rear window. Also gave the wheelnut covers a clean over seeing as they have the white discolouring and they've come up really well just with a good wipe over with detailer.... A proper clean and they'll look as good as new so that's a little saving as i thought i might have to replace them when i replace the centrecaps and front and rear Skoda badges.
