  • Popped to the garage at lunchtime to swap coolant temp sensor. I don't think it's the problem but it can't hurt. Going to swap O2 sensor later for the spare I have. Went well, all sorted in 5 mins. T

Bought it!

What?

Special offer on a bag of  turnips was it?

Took it for it's service at VASS tech this morning, wandered round Northallerton and bought some stuff, and then took it to darlington to get the 13 pin to 7 pin adaptor for work, popped into PC world on the way to "look" bought a new laptop and then decided I'd spent far too much today so I'd get that adaptor and then go home.

Then I went to Tesco, bought a couple of 32 GB USB sticks and some food, then decided I'd finally spent too much and took it home for the night.

Sold it.

Not me, but my Dad has part-ex'd his 2006 '56' Mk1 Fabia 1.2 HTP for a 2012 '12' Honda Jazz 1.2 i-VTEC

drove to another brisky member to do some vcds adjustments

Alcantara, carpets & mats protected with Chemical Guys Fabric Protector, leather bolsters protected with Gtechnic L1 Leather Guard.

Leaving to cure overnight :)

Gave it an brisk early sunny morning run across to my partners place . Much fun!

Then a switch into her recently acquired Fabia vRS, for another different sort of blast to a lovely Wiltshire Country pub for lunch.

That's fine by me!

Taxed the octy. So off for a blast after a month of SORN.

Assessed the work that needs to be completed for restoration.

Rear shock tops have been repaired (result) but some one couldn't be arsed to finish the paint.

So today I will be pricing and planing the refurb of the bed area. Paint, wood re-vanish, surface rust removal ect.

Yesterday I replaced the engine coolant temp sensor as other was throwing errors, much better now. Today I gave the octy a good wash, clayed the bumper, wing mirror covers and then gave her a good polish. 5yve3ehu.jpgeruseqer.jpg

Very good - look like they've got loads of room to play in? Spaniels are they?

Yes. English Springers that belong to my in-laws. A very bouncy brother and sister who are now eight years old. They are fantastic with kids and let our three year old cuddle them. The only drawback is their near magical ability to find mud!

Giving the girl some love, complete service and a treat to a K&N panel filter for all its air filtering needs.

then I will take it for a drive and smile as i feel the extra smothness of a freshly oiled engine.

Ermmmmmm...... Bought it, collected it, had a play with the new toys and then brought it home. :) :) :)

Cheers

Dave.
