  • Popped to the garage at lunchtime to swap coolant temp sensor. I don't think it's the problem but it can't hurt. Going to swap O2 sensor later for the spare I have. Went well, all sorted in 5 mins. T

  • modified the cup holder     It's now a hobnob holder

Also, I can't be watching that video above, I'll be laughing too loud in the office.

Toothpaste is good for removing the shine

Came up really well with the raceglaze stuff.

Managed to squeeze 406 miles out a fullt ank then refilled with Tesco Momentum and hoovered it out.

You hoovered the tank out? :-)

PMSL! yeh kinda :giggle:

Finally fitted some LED footwell lights and LED puddle lights in the mirrors.

Also fitted the Ring Xenon Max H3 bulbs for the halogen main beam (on top of the OE Bi-Xenon's)

OE Osrams on the left Ring Xenon Max on the right:

^^ are the mains on the Superb relatively easy to do Gizmo? Got mine to do over the weekend.

Piece of cake to fit the main beam bulbs, you just need to make sure there are in square before you fit the locating spring, the dip beams will be a bit harder I imagine (mine has Bi-xenon's, so I did not need to do them)

Fitted an LED boot light from Superskoda.B)

Had a long long discussion with a mate & fellow fabia owner about if its worth pushing them further modifying them, or to just enjoy and save for a quicker car.

Removed half the field that decided to attach itself to underside of motor !

Fitted my rear brace, awesome!

Fitted Philips Extreme and Osram Night Breaker Plus bulbs into dipped and main beams, respectively. Lighting now greatly improved.

The main beams were relatively easy but like Gizmo suggested you have to be sure they are in straight and square before clipping in.

Dipped beams were very easy - rubber cover off, twist bulb, remove from housing, disconnect and take off old bulb, fit new one and reverse the process.

Had a puncture repaired,(Left wheel at kwik fit, picked up later ) going to the meet too, good job I have 5 Zeniths so no need for embarrassment with a silly skinny

Booked the Octi in for its 3rd service and filled the tank with Tesco's finest Satan Juice ;)

replaced some of the body panels on the inner wings which were rusted away and generally mooched about fiddling with this and that on the car

Had Mrs Stigs Ferbi serviced. Quoted £107, but was charged £85.00  And it was at a main dealer :D

Applied G4 G2 and G1 (Gtecniq) to windows, and put my new car cover on

UMM!!

£165 for a new tax disc on the Sport, just ordered.

Front and rear drive recorders refitted so they are in the middle and not off to one side.

It was annoying me.

Drove it to work & got hacked off by all the numpties driving nose to tail at 80 with foglights on thinking they make them invincible.. :wonder:
