  • Popped to the garage at lunchtime to swap coolant temp sensor. I don't think it's the problem but it can't hurt. Going to swap O2 sensor later for the spare I have. Went well, all sorted in 5 mins. T

Struggled to get in and out of the car when the drivers door lock went mad. Got home and starting pulling things apart and discovered the multiplug behind the trim in the footwell was all green, cleaned it up and liberally applied some silicon grease and all seems better.

Oh, and I sold my Skoda to T.Spark :giggle:

Busy weekend.

Red car gained a curbed alloy and has drunk half a tank of fuel after travelling "briskly" to Birmingham & Castle Combe.

Black car has had its rear doors stripped and resealed, and spent an afternoon with central heating (an oil radiator in the back) :)

Fingers crossed for no more wet footwells.

had it detailed by ChrisRs and his apprentice Alan (bluevrs2)

and a fine job was done

Apprentice!! my arse

polished and waxed it but i think it needs a machine polish if anyone fancies it got a few swirl marks ;)

Drove it to work for the first time, around 10 miles iirc in crappy traffic and the trip states 50mpg. Oh how I miss that!

Apprentice!! my arse

Bitch

Cleaned and conditioned my leather, gave windows a thorough cleaning inside, washed and dried car, removed black plastic fog light surrounds and gave them a liberal application of PB Natural look dressing and then popped them back on, applied PB to tyres and flaps just infront of wheels.

On Saturday I put 2 bikes on the roof and a trailer in the boot and then a few hours later took them all off again including the roof rack
