Fixed a loose screw on my amp mounting that caused a rattle

Nothing done yet but bought a pair of 05+ rear lights for £10 plus postage on eBay.

Can't wait to get them fitted.

Took the near side front wheel off my Octavia to see the 'inner face (of the disc i.e. the one I couldn't see) heavily corroded, ridged, grooved and worn' and the disc that was 'worn, pitted or scored'. I found an almost completely flat, shiny surface. Rather like the front brake that is juddering severely and is considered dangerous but is not noticeable when braking.

On the brighter side I also cleaned out the inner wheel arch and got a hand full of mulch.

Then I took our visiting Yorkie up to Wimbledon Common for a walk

Cleaned out the EGR, didn't notice a vast difference TBH, except my fingernails are all coked up now.

Had a visit from Final Touch. Will take pics in a nicer location when I can.

Fitted rear bumper diffuser and wheel arch covers; looks well.

Changed interior map bulbs for LEDs:

Had the dreaded "start blocked by immobiliser". Only happened once, not sure what caused it and it started straight after, but starting to wonder if I'll end up stranded somewhere :S

I've probably changed a dozen or so sets, including the three Fabias I've owned which I swapped the rear clusters on

Changed front and rear Skoda badges on my Roomster. Quite easy with the info provided by others in the forum, and my thanks to them. That completes the changeover as the wheel centre badges had been changed some weeks ago.

Went for a drive at lunch and blew some of the cobwebs away

New secondhand parking sensor fitted, all is good in the land of late night unlit road reversing.

Fitted the winter wheels and tyres on the Superb and TT ..... then it started to hail

Carefully picked a load of leaves off it.

Filled it with rubbish and took it to the dump.
