Gave my fab vrs a good wash and polish.. Took a few hours but now looks like new, plasti dipped my front grille surround and put my briskoda.net sticker on! She's looking pretty good now! That plasti dip makes the front look so much better

  • Popped to the garage at lunchtime to swap coolant temp sensor. I don't think it's the problem but it can't hurt. Going to swap O2 sensor later for the spare I have. Went well, all sorted in 5 mins. T

Washed it after getting it all muddy, then fitted a piggy back fuse thing I got off ebay to make the Tom Tom and the Black Vue work and hid all the wires to both with in the fuse box and A pillar trim also for the camera along the head lining.

Filled it with Diesel too ready for the week ahead.

And a bit of chemical metal for the sump :-P

With a hole that big in the sump it will seem just like a 1.4 TFSI with the amount of oil you could go through.

Seriously though, glad you are OK. The car has seemed to have stood up pretty well all things considered. At least you stayed right way up.

+1. Did mine a few weeks ago, looks a lot better IMO.

What did I do to my Skoda today? Filled it up with diesel at the local Sainsburys, jetwashed it there too, then two bucket washed it at home, before I realised that one of the buckets I bought yesterday had a hole in! Also realised that my wheels are pretty much ruined and in need of a refurb.

Took the JPS for a spin using the paddles today - really enjoyed it...........DSG does encourage you to be lazy :(

Emptied out my Superb and cleaned/dressed the interior, washed the door shuts and other bits a car wash won't touch. Getting ready to trade it in on Friday for a new one, and wanted it to look well looked after :-)

Had a good old look at the Octy today and try to decide what to do to change it from its dull Ambiente spec.

Changed the left hand dipped H7 bulb - thats both the uprated Philips Extreme bulbs gone in 12 months. THe right hand one went 2 weeks ago.

Damn auto lights!

Got my private plate on it, but need to re-order pressed plates later today.

Washed and polished yesterday. Taken it up muddy tracks today on business and guess what...needs washing again.

Popped down to TPS to pick up a new battery for the Leon after the original one gave up. Very good price on the battery from TPS too!

Got my Kenwood DNX520VBT fitted.

Cleaned and got some new pics

Great photos! That really is a great standard of graffiti

Not something I did to my Skoda, but some nasty evil stone managed to hit my windscreen, not once, oh no, but twice! :swear: Looks like someone has shot at my windscreen! And this is a new screen only put in 6 months ago! And it can't be repaired due the holes being too close together.............. :(

Got it soaking wet inside. Somehow the distance window opening operation from my key got activated, windows came down and stayed down overnight whilst it poured with rain. Second time its happened but the first night was dry.

Parked it for a week as I've got the use of a Seat Alhambra.

Drove it from Edinburgh to Biggar and back in a 'personal best' time.

As in, never got stuck behind an HGV, unlike usual.

Gave it a good old bubble bath :)

What did you do to deserve that Paul?? :p

Ambrosia had a good wash and brush up, dried with a Drying Towel and the wheels washed and sealed

She looks loverly

Nothing

Walked past it and dived onto the pushbike seen as its been a nice day.

Mk1 Est passed it's MOT today with no advisaries, not bad for a car coming up to 9 years old!

I finally got my lock replaced :) now I just need to put the rest of the door back together
