Going against the flow I'm leaning towards keeping the estate - less toys, but driving it yesterday reminded me of the airiness you get with the estate - I think having had that I'd feel closed in with a hatch.

Might book in in the new year to get some Eibachs fitted

Interesting comments posted - possibly shows how easy it is to spend other people's money :giggle: But a useful exercise all the same.

Keep the estate, 5k could get you a lot of goodies for yours

anyway i've only just put you MDI in yours :p

Bryan, have you been drinking the same water as Damo??

Aren't diesel electric trains supposed to be the next "new" thing being reliable, efficient, cost effiective and darn near perfect ? A bit like a diesel vRS ?

Thats what they said in the 1930s , when they first came out!

Ps I love that White hatch , get it bought!

That hatch looks good Brimma but I'd hang on to your limited edition estate personally: nice set of wheels IMHO when I saw it at the Brisky day in the summer.

That was part of my thinking - excellent job you did there Dan - I wouldn't want to have it ripped again quite so quick

I think he's being a bit cruel in rubbing it in that your car doesn't have the standard vRS fitments that all the other vRS cars have Bryan. Not a very nice thing to remind you about at this festive time of year. Especially to one of our most valued 'senior' members.

Or did Matt mean something else when he referred to your car being a 'limited' edition version!! :giggle:

I try to see good in everyone, John - even you :p , and even though you are considerably older than me :p :p

I took it as a compliment - no doubt Matt will have the good grace to come out openly if he was taking the p*ss

Don't tell me that - are you trying to get me to change ? :(

noooo estate all they way for me :)

Wish id not got rid of my vRS estate

Solved that problem then!

if you dont need an estate anymore id go for it

GO For it and change the wheels.

Nothing wrong with lorry fuel now a days.

DO IT

the car has now been sold :p

I saw that on the stock list and was very tempted. When I went back to double check a week late it was not listed so I presumed it had gone.

Other than the wheels it was the vRS I woud of ordered if I'd not tripped over and slipped into a Superb :)
