Isn't the light on the dash mean the ASR is off?

Yep, but I suspect Ivan did a few runs with t/c on and off to find out which was fastest ;):D

Time for some Eibachs and some bigger tyres to maximise traction ;)

As highlighted in my thread somewhere.. youll actually loose a lot of performance with bigger wheels! i estimate that my kahns were a extra 5kg each over std wheels.. which blunted performance quite dramatically. based on the theory that every kg of unsprung weight is worth 2kg... so thats equivalent to 40bhp

Yep and the fact that a large wheel will require a bigger turning force in the first place. Decent tyres are whats needed TBH as I have the standard solid plastic tread ones on there

Yep, but not an issue if you get bigger (ie wider) *tyres* on the standard wheels ;):D

You could argue the wider tyres could cause more friction though ;)

More traction ;) At the moment you're wasting energy generated by the wheels spinning as friction (heat) anyway ;)

Btw, forgot to ask, are you seeing an increase in fuel economy with your remap? ;):D

Depends on how he uses the loud pedal :D

Well in that case No ;)

Is it faster than the wind though?

As fast as mine? :D

As fast as mine? :D

Has your belly recovered?

May be having belly trouble later :D

I got 6.9 on my G-Tech Performance Meter when my car had only done c.1000 miles

I would trust AP22's etc not "stopwatch and vid" for accurate timings, true start of timing on movement and true 60mph when timing ended.

Ivan fancy lending my AP22 :D

Yep, AP22 / G-Tech / VBox for accurate timings.

you got a ap22?

can i borrow it? :D

And you lot wonder why your clutches are dying...lol.

Agreed Ross and the 0-60 was a once of to show the remapped Fabia's potential.
