Maybe it's just me,but whenever i see a VRS in racing blue i really don't like the choice of colour.

I've always loved black cars,so when i was searching for a fabia VRS that was the obvious choice.....although i do like the reds and yellows for this cracking car.

I don't like it to such an extent that i don't think i would have purchased the LE fabia VRS,if i didn't get another colour option,i know we all have differing tastes but i just think it doesn't suit the car.

There's a few hundred people that will disagree with you but, it's your opinion. I prefer it in blue to black. However the black one is 3 1/2 years older than the blue one.

I think it suits the car well, if only it always looked like it does on the brochure!

We all have our own personal tastes but I really like the race blue. It was good they saved it for the LE, made it a bit more special.

Yep, each to their own. I've had black and the race blue. Loved both but the race blue is special. If I could get it upstairs I'd sleep with it. Don't think that sounds weird.

My personal opinion is the exact opposite of the OP , if I buy a Fabia vRS then it will only be an SE , simply because its the only one availible in Race Blue. I love all Blues that are bright and stand out , Black looks great when clean but shows every bit of dust , water marks ect so I personally wouldnt consider another Black car (Ive had 2). My second choice would be Sprint (Not Lemon , as its a little 'flat' for my tastes) Yellow , and Corrida Red taking 3rd favourite. I would have loved a Candy White Fabia vRS also , shame they didnt build one.

An for the record I love the blue just couldn't afford to buy a LE so had to settle for silver!

I love blue, but went for black... silver was too bland, yellow too outrageous, red was no as just had a red car and blue too expensive at the time!

Maybe a little bit of jealousy creeping in?

I'm not getting another Black car. When you have washed and polished it, it looks great, but it doesn't take long to get it mucky again. Silver cars are great as they hide the muck, but when you polish them, you don't get the same sheen as you do with a Black one. If I wanted another Mk1 vRS I'd try and find a Blue SE as I don't think they suffer with any of the problems of the other two.
