No...hot and sunny here, just getting the BBQ ready to chuck the turkey on!

Really though they PROMISED snow here today and it looks like a pretty remote possibility at the moment...few fluffy clouds, calm, and not even that cold. Rained a bit during the night. Kids are dissapointed but happy with all their new swag though.

Sounds like a good idea.

Snowed yesterday in Stirling and a bit again this morning. Nice clear day now and the hills and mountains look terrific. Went for a drive up to Callander yesterday afternoon and it really put me in the Christmas mood driving through snow covered pine trees.

Tested the ESP too :eek:

It's white here now!

We got the snow last night about 10pm.

Not much of it , but it's still white this morning.

A *very* nervous bloke has just driven past in a land rover discovery towing the biggest caravan I've ever seen. He'll have fun when he has to go downhill at the end of my road.

About an inch in lovely Rochdale round my area. I know for a fact that it was much worse up in Whitworth inasmuch as the rate at which it was falling (which was rather impressive IMHO) was heavier - it held my two mates up getting down to my house........

Went out around 7pm last night to clear it off the cars so it wouldn't freeze on the glass. Much easier to clear this morning.....lol at the muppets still clearning their cars when i came back from a friends this morning.....tee-hee...

Driving on ice is a nerve-racking experience in this TDI though - just thinking of using the gas pedal brings me out in a sweat........just had to let it "tractor" itself up the street this morning.

Rochdale Council, using all the wisdom and intelligence they have, gritted minimally on Friday while it was lashing it down with rain........so the grit and salt would all wash away ready for the snow and ice to form yesterday............very bright.........

Well we had a white christmas over here in County Antrim, it snowed more or less all christmas day from about 3am till after 9pm. Much of it has melted today on boxing day, but still plenty of it about.

Well we had around 4 inches up here on Dartmoor, dragged the kids away from their presents to go for a walk on the moor and they thoroughly enjoyed it
