Passed my test in 1982, so this might take some time, but here goes...

1. 1978 Ford Capri II 1.6S - silver with black vinyl roof. Was planning to get an Escort but somehow ended up with this!

2. 1988 Fiat Uno 60S (1.1) - bought new after outbreak of common sense, but surprisingly entertaining to drive

3. 1990 Vauxhall Astra 1.7D (company car) - sloooowwww!

4. 1993 Rover 218SLD (company car) - with Peugeot 1.7TD engine. Massive improvement on the Astra - found out what it was like to overtake again!

5. 1995 Ford Mondeo 1.8GLS?/X? (company car) - got bored with the Rover after 70k miles so swapped with a colleague for this

6. 1993 Vauxhall Cavalier 4x4 Turbo (company car) - got my hands on this when my boss left and his replacement wanted something larger. Still fondly remembered and forgiven for losing all its water on the M5 one night. Stolen from outside my flat and recovered, but then management wouldn't let me keep it without secure parking, so ended up back in the Rover :(

7. 1991 Vauxhall Cavalier 2.0 GLS (company car) - change of job. Didn't do it for a better car!

8. 1996 Peugeot 406 1.9D GLX (company car)

9. 1998 Volvo S40 2.0CD (company car) - full leather and lots of toys but not a great drive

10. 2001 Honda Accord 2.0VTEC SE Exec - missed the heated seats last winter!

11. 2007 Skoda Octavia vRS 2.0TFSI - reminds me of the Cavalier Turbo :)

1. 1994 Citroen AX Debut carefully decorated in BMX stickers - Died in head on collision with a Rover 25

3. 1994 VW Polo Breadvan - Painted british racing green and lighted fettled from it's standard 64bhp to about 80bhp - Considered dead when at 80,000 heat was coming from behind the speedo.

5. 2005 Skoda Fabia VRS

I still see the golf around, and whoever got it looks after it like I did - it still wears it's bonnet bra!

I can even remember what cars I learnt to drive were.

Vauxhall Corsa (Mk 2) - Drove around a Kart track with BSM @ 16 yo.

Vauxhall Astra Mk3 - won 10 driving lessons at school.

Subary Justy - 1.0l or 1.3 optional 4wd, did most of lessons in that.

Of course. Citroen AX 1.4 Diesel (mums car) with my dad.

Before that, Dads, Chevette and MG Meastro on his knee (me steering) on a beach in mid Wales (Ynyslas).

1) R reg Peugeot 104 SL (Rebuilt engine)

2) V reg Peugeot 104 SR (Engine from 104 ZS [rare!], ported+polished 1124cc about 83BHP at wheels! would out perform a Escort Mk1 1.3GT)

3) X reg Escort Mk3 1.6 Ghia (Kent 272 fast road cam, uprated followers/springs,XR3 inlet manifold, Webber twin carb, ITG intake, Group A exhaust+manifold, major porting and polishing, uprated clutch, very FAST Escort back in 1989, use to kill 205 1.9 GTI's believe it or not)

4) H reg Toyota Corolla GTi 16V [uprated AE92 spec engine]

(Superchips race icon, Scorpion SS Exhaust system,K+N induction, lowered, uprated suspension) Great car, still miss it to this day! Great dashboard! Very quick upto a 100mph, and rev almost to 8000rpm.

5) M reg Subura Legacy quad-cam turbo (standard) (Dangerously fast, and very thirsty!)

6) S reg Saxo VTR (lowered, superchip, induction kit) Nice car, but needed more go...

3) '02 Mk1 Leon Cupra 1.8 20vt Pre-facelift in Black magic - Remapped to 210bhp

4) '06 Fabia VRS in Red (current)

1. 1983 Vauxhall Astra MK1 1200cc :giggle:

2. 1988 Vauxhall Nova 1200cc Merit (a glutton for punishment when I was young :'( )

.....then many years of being car-less

3. 2001 VW Lupo Sport - ok but should have bought a GTi so 11 months later...

4. 2005 VW Lupo GTi - loved this car & still sort of regret selling it - had it from three months old and sold (2009) it with FVWSH (all receipts) in mint condition - unfortunately I shouldn't have bothered as the young chav that bought it 'vandalised' it (lowered it, new interior and had a decal on the rear bumper saying 'road whore')

5. 2004 Skoda Fabia vRS - always fancied one - was going to buy a blue one but saw this at a very reasonable price in a garage (full Skoda service history) - wasn't taken with it at first but it's grown on me - too old for going round corners on the door handles so the relaxed style suits me to a tee - now in better nick than when I bought it - alloys refurbed, parking dings in nearside front door removed, brakes no longer squeak and leaking rear door carrier repaired.

ii) T (suffix) Morris Marina 1.3 Auto - lasted less than two weeks before it drank all the oil and destroyed the engine.

iii) V (suffix) Toyota Starlet 1.2

iv) 1988 Citroen BX 1.4

v) 1985 Vauxhall Nova 2dr Saloon in brown with orange go faster stripe! (Came with wife attached).

vi) 1992 Vauxall Astra 1.4 (replacement for BX and Nova).

vii) 1998 Vauxhall Astra 1.6.

viii) 2001 Vauxhall Astra 2.0 Dti / 1998 Perodua Nippa - diverged back to two car family again!

ix) 2007 Skoda Fabia vRS SE / 2004 Skoda Fabia 1.2 Classic

x) 2010 Mazda6 2.2d Sport - replaced Fabia vRS.

I have owned lots of cars that i have just bought to sell on - I cant remember all of them. I've been riving since I was 18 back in 1998!

But here are the cars that I actually bought for myself:-

1st car - MK2 Polo CX Squareback 1093cc - A377JEL

front.jpg

Owned it for 2 years - put about 20,000 miles on it and blew the headgasket about 8 times!

The traded it in for my next car.

2nd car - Mk2 Golf GTi 8v - D482UPU

I dont have any pics of this one! Std except for some 16" Fox wheels & a Jetex exhaust

the traded that in at a VW dealers for my 3rd car

3rd Car - Mk4 Polo 1.6 8v CL - R881SSP then private plate L99OLO

PICT0225.jpg

4th Car - MK3 Polo GT - J485FSL

Bought as a project car for £70 - Spent £2000 on it to get it to this

IMAGE94.jpg

IMAGE95.jpg

Sold to a guy in Wales and it still being used as a Rally car!

5th Car - Mk3 Polo G40 - J310KLW

Bought as a project car for £1500 with £1000 worth of spares!

from this:-

Pict0007.jpg

to this:-

Image090.jpg

the sold my 3rd & 4th car and bought this:-

6th Car - Audi 100 Avant Quattro with an oettinger engine conversions - G753UYM

PICT0004.jpg

PICT0006.jpg

Bought of ebay for £1000 totally std (if you could call it that with that engine!) but need the transfer box sorted a new fuel tank, new brake lines, discs pads & full suspension rebuild. Did 16mpg if you drove like miss daisy!

7th car - Mk2 Polo Parade - H reg? Owned for 2 weeks and hit a deer with it - no pics!

Sold it to a mate who rebuild it

Sold the 6th car to a classic car dealer who sold it onto a guy in London - got a good price + a free car to get home in!

8th car - Mk3 Scirocco Scalal - Oil2862

18102008032.jpg

Sold to my sisters Boyfriend!

9th car - need something newer and more sensible, as I still had the 5th car (the G40), for the 110 mile a day commute, plus we needed a 5dr as we now had a little girl to think about. So i bought a Punto 1.9 JTD - it lasted 1 month before a wet corner + some diesel = this

23102005002.jpg

23102005003.jpg

Insurance paid out and I bought this - my 10th car - Mk2 Golf GTD - J503ONB - 1.6TD with top mount intercooler:-

golfside3.jpg

a few mods =

Image029.jpg

Then got bored and bought my 11th car - Polo mk4 16v - P450XUG

01062008042.jpg

a few mods =

19042010109.jpg

19042010111.jpg

Sold the 10th car & the 5th car to buy my 12th car - My Fabia VRS - SL53HYA

03062010135.jpg

03062010136.jpg

And then finally sold my 11th car and bought this - VW Touran 1.9TDi - ST53LLG

26072010183.jpg

And i'm travelling upto Aberdeen this weekend to pick-up another Mk3 Polo Project car. A dark green Genesis which is missing its running gear - that ok though as i have a complete GT running gear to go back into it! Cost = FREE!
