Ordered the wife an Elegance 1.2 105 DSG on Dec 11th. Called today to add heated seats, cornering fog lights and headlight washers. Got told they have a build week of the second week of April.

Ordered my silver Skoda Fabia Elegance 1.2TSI DSG on 18 July 2010, after what seems like an interminal wait I am collecting my car tomorrow, as I am informed by my dealer that the deals on no VAT and 0% finance ends 31 December 2010. Will keep you all updated on developments, hope care is woth the wait?

Ordered a vrs on 27th December with quite a few extras ( but told that did not matter ) given a rough estimate of 10 to 20 weeks! Told I will be given a much better idea by 10 th January

Here's hoping it won't be 20 weeks

FYI, these delivery times are very UK-specific.

I'm from France, and I ordered my Fabia the October 25th (black, tsi 105, no dsg, with 3 options). I've just learnt that it has been build and it is now on the way to France: so that will be about 10 weeks of waiting delay.

can you track your car week by week then if i order a new one i would like see where my is it would be good to now where it is

i ordered fabia vrs race blue climate control cruise control rear parking sensors box under seats on 20 july delivery sugested october then it went to build date first week of november this has now bean changed to firt week of december perhaps the snakes have ate the workers

finely built friday 7 jan left factory sunday should soon be here at long last at least it will be a lot cheaper with no vat

does the dealer tell you how when the car has left the factory line and when its starts its jornney and how far its before it gets here sound good to me

Most keep you updated or you can always contact the dealer and ask for an update.

I wish buyers could track the build/delivery on a web site. I have the order number

for my car but do not have access to the correct web site to use it.

Gb51 keep us posted on stages be interested to see how the dealer keeps u informed and exactly how long from factory to your drive.

One way to keep track if you are waiting for longer than 16 weeks is to contact Skoda customer helpline. They were really good at keeping me informed of build date, arrival in the UK, etc. Not sure if they do this for shorter wait times but it might be worth a try!

The dealer has the SLI number, mine wrote it down for me so I could check myself.

My SLI/Order number consists of 8 numbers. Is that what other people have ?
