Ordered 29th June (week 26)

Still not got a confirmed date build date, but latest is christmas week (week 51).

By the time it gets here it will have taken more than 6 months (told 10 - 12 weeks when ordering).

Just received an update from the Hobins in Manchester and my car is being built this week and is anticipated to be ready for collection during the week commencing 22nd November. I am delighted as I only ordered mid September. By some freak of luck I appear to have queue jumped - maybe demand for white is low, or it was a cancelled order?

What version did you order, as the 1.2 105 TSI DSG engine seems to be causing backlogs, I know as I ordered mine on 31st August and have been given a revised date of week 2 (was december, then week 1, then week 3) .

I ordered a 1.2 105 DSG on Tuesday and although it'll be a while before the dealer is given a build week, I've been told to expect an 11 plate...

It seems the driver noted my pleas and got his foot down. Car was delivered yesterday and had the phone call to pick her up Sat morn. Yip Yee

i ordered fabia vrs race blue climate control cruise control rear parking sensors box under seats on 20 july delivery sugested october then it went to build date first week of november this has now bean changed to firt week of december perhaps the snakes have ate the workers

I ordered mine end of Sept been given a rough delivery date of around mid feb

Need to pop in and see if they have a build week yet

I ordered a Fab Estate Elegance 1.6tdi 105 in White on 20/09/2010. Initially told wk 5 for collection.

Hobins in Manchester have just contacted me to say it will be with them on Monday and should be ready for collection on Thursday!

Order my Fabia 1.2TSI DSG (105) in silver on 18 July 2010, was supposed to be built week 41, but have not yet been given a build date, don't know if I should cancel and try Seat.

I ordered my Fabia Elegance Estate 1.2 TSI 105 DSG, Artic Green, on 16 July

After a few weeks was given a build date of week44

My Dealer (Claybank) telephoned today to say they now had it and I am due to pick it up next Wednesday :yes:

And before anyone asks I will try to get some photos and post them on the forum

Ordered VRS early August 2010. Latest build week was 47 (I think - noted somewhere but can't find it now) but I suspect build will be later and likely 2011 delivery. But maybe I'll be pleasantly surprised and it'll arrive sooner. But maybe I'll cancel and try something else . . . . . . already have had four fabias - maybe time for a change!

update put back to build week 50 what are they doing

I put my order september,still no build date never mind delivery date,looking out the window yesterday 2 fabias and one yeti delivered,the dealer is 50 metres away from me!,this is so annoying

Are you in contact with the Skoda 'helpline/customer service'?

If you phone them, they will set up a case file for you and keep you up to date with what is happening.

When I originally phoned them they told me they would get back to me in 2-3 weeks and 3 weeks to the day they phoned to update me. Had another phone call on Thursday telling me that my build week was confirmed for next week (yippee!!!) and that they would ring again to confirm delivery dates.

Apart from the appallingly long wait and the fact that it came to setting up a case file with them, the people on the Skoda helpline were very friendly and helpful, AND phoned when they said they would!

Yes it looks like a 61 plate:S,still drive the superb2 and the 3 cylinder furby so not all bad:rofl:,it will arrive when its supposed to and not a minute sooner:rofl:
