I have on order a hatchback Octavia vRS CR TDI manual in race blue metallic (no extra's) my order was accepted 28th May 2011, i was given a provisional delivery date of mid November 2011

i was updated today that the delivery date has now been changed to the end of September 2011, not bad really.

if it arives at the end of September 2011 that will be approx 16 weeks from order to delivery hopefully it will be on time

I hope this is usefull.

Thanks for your thread on delivery my order placed 15th May 2011 now ready at dealer as of 29th July 2011 is this some record or what? "I make it 11 weeks"

Only problem is dealer sat on private plate transfer so now I am left waiting for them and DVLA to pull their finger out before I can take delivery.

Miffed to say the least.

Original promised date was mid September. Only plus side was £800 more for my vRS PX being taken early. This added up to £1700 loss for 16 months motoring on my last Octavia vRS. Bet I won't be able to do same in the next year or so.

Ordered my vRS yesterday 2nd August(spec in sig), been told it will be around 11-13 weeks wait time. Will update when I receive a build week.

vRS TDi finally arrived!

Ordered in April (wk16)

Build week confirmed as wk33 (wk20)

Build week brought forward to wk28 (wk27)

Car arrived at dealer (wk31)

Picked up (wk32).

So 15wks from Order to delivery, not too bad considering the horror stories I've heard.

The cargo ship that brings them across has been doing loads of trips, so production must have really ramped up.

got to be one of the last ones waiting for a vrs ordered in 2010 which is what this forum topic was originally created for! seems ages ago!

anyway im loving it. cant believe how many heads it turns.
