started with build week of 14...............3 weeks later week 18........... just rang skoda uk today and now its week 20!

so its slipped 6 weeks in the last 5 weeks if you know what i mean!

gutted! we are in build week 13 now so even if it sticks at week 20 (which i doubt), with delivery etc im guna be looking at mid june at best

not good news considering im now driving my mothers old rover 25 with a head gasket thats gone and waiting to explode and more time is what the

rovers life expectancy does not have!!

Same here, I'm now at week 20 unconfirmed. Skoda have told me they will provide me a car from week 18 :|

25/09/2010 ordered.vrs diesel,hatch, anthracite,manual no extras apart from spare spacesaver wheel. phoned suk today,they couldnt help as i didnt have order number, phoned dealers,still no build date!!!!

WOW that is specifically bad I didnt have my order number when I first called SUK but the person went and found it for me based on my personal details and dealers details maybe try calling again speaking to another person they gave me it for future reference

have got internal reference number now off dealer.suk told me to get ref and ring them back[might do this next week], they said they couldnt get me any more information than the dealer as they use the same system to track any orders.dealers are useless at keeping in touch, never return phone calls when we ring for info. i am far from impressed with skoda at the moment to say the least!!

my TSI VRS was ordered 30th Jan, and collected yesterday, 30th March!

well........rang suk,just been told build week 21, but not definite!!!!!!cant believe it, will be lucky to get the car in june at the earliest,how can they even try to justify 9 month from ordering to delivery

Popped into dealer today to add heated seats to order and was informed we have a build date of week 20.Hopefully new car by June then.

Put back to 21 now.

It was raised by another member on the forums. As of week 18 you are entitled to either an After Sales Vehicle or a payment (£150 rising to £300) depending on the delay time.

My dealer wasn't particularly helpful & still isn't, it took a few calls to Skoda UK to get some action out of them. I'm waiting for a call this week that will let me know what car they are offering & when can collect.

same here, dealer doesnt keep in touch, when we have phoned he is always busy, he never returns phone calls as promised, i have the e mail adress of the managing director of skoda uk, i am going to get in touch with him{prob wasting my time}we ordered september and have a provisional build week 21, that will be 9 month from order to delivery,if we are lucky. order form says march delivery

Thought it might be a nice idea if we kept a short table / list of people who have ordered there cars and when they hopefully will be produced. This might give us an idea of what colours spec (auto/manual) are being produced first.

Please note this thread is only for cars ordered in 2010, as would not show a true reflection with the news re delays to diesels ordered in 2011

you will be lucky to get your diesel company car ordered in march by june! in fact youve got no chance.

i will have to do some digging with skoda uk and the courtesy car after 18 weeks?

This is week 17 so your date is close enough that it shouldn't move now.

rang dealers last week, i was told build week 18 confirmed, i will believe it when i see the car!!

I ordered my new vrs last week and have been given a build date of week 24. They said it should be accurate as it was originally a stock vehicle that my dealer ordered but now they have changed it to the spec I'm after.
