Dealer said mine will be ready for collection tomorrow or Sat am worse case. Just paid the car off & did all the paper work at dealers this afternoon, just need to grab the keys & go go go..... By the way on my documentation under the make/model/variantnline it ends CR vRS 12, could this be a MY12 model already ?? Your thoughts....

I believe that is one of the MY12 updates - the new badge.

Which I actually prefer and once I know they are available I'll be ordering some.

after mine has been pushed back to the end of july (8 months) im getting a courtesy car from my dealer

they reckon that its been pushed back from bw 21, to 25, now to bw 28 so quickly as it will be the 12' car with a few updates so its likely yours is as well cos it seems these are starting to come through now

documents on mine says octavia hatch vrs 2.0 tdi cr dpf 170 ps 6g man.

just to add. if it helps anyone else. i asked skoda uk last week about the compensation scheme, they said dealer has to sort it.

rang dealer he denied this. spoke to dealer on collection of car he again said skoda uk have to sort it.

rang skoda uk today, they said dealer is wrong, after 25 weeks i am entitled to £300 marks and spencer vouchers or accesories or services from dealer.

skoda uk were very helpful have contacted the dealer with what they said stern words and are phoning me back tomorrow to check dealer has contacted me.

is that on the registration document? the only paperwork i got was the vehicle invoice when we paid for it and the registration document.

and thanks everyone for the congrats, really relieved to have got the car at last and also wont have to be in contact with the dealer again hopefully. i live and learn, next time i will vote with my feet and buy elsewhere.

congratulations, at last. its been a long wait for us.

Picked mine up...Vrs in candy white with a few extras, a week last tuesday...now got just under 600 miles on the clock, & do I like driving it......oohhh yes I do.

First new car I have bought where everything actually works fine ...no problems so far with it. Yes it does suffer from a little exta road noise , but given the size of the tyres & the performance this seems to be a small price to pay.

If you want luxury & quiet the Vrs is not for you. But by hell when you put your foot down its better than sex..... almost...cannot fault myn new sexy lady in my life she looks sooo sexy, performs on demand & doesnt complain...a big plus in my book. Just a shame i cannot get into bed....lol.

Anyway enough said, being Yorkshire lad am going outside to admire her on the drive whilst enjoying a few pints of Taylors Landlord...good quality beer for all you southerners...lol

cars going like a dream and really pleased with it, now its here i would say it was worth the wait but dont know whether i would order again with an 8 month wait and definitly i would use a different dealer than the one i bought this one off.

I've only done 30 miles in it, got it around 4ish y'day & had 2drive home & put it in the grg because I was due down the pub at 5 (real pity).

Today i've been out a bit more & can really appreciate car a lot more. Well the bloody thing goes like stink. Love the way it kicks in around 2000 RPM & just becomes an animal ! :rofl:I cant wait to get some real miles under my belt.

Know what you mean about the power at about 2000 rpm....goes like **** off a shovel. Nothing can compare it for the price.

Jhe mine has ordinary black mats inside too, but am looking for alternatives as I dont think they will last too long if i find ant reasonable ones will let you know m8.

Factory fit VRS mats are black with grey edging. There is a set you can buy from Skoda accessories which say VRS on them

I've got mine Saturday & i've got the same black with grey rim. Dealer said to me from the outset I wouldn't get the vRS ones though. I'll hang fire until there start wearing a bit before I shell out any more. I've been financially raped enough this month.

I must have spent an hour sat in my garage yesterday fiddling with the radio & maxidot. I'm getting used to navigating now but it's fun playing with toys !

On the plus side i've got Continental tyres on mine, that's a big plus as far as i'm concerned.

Steady on, us manly types only use manuals as coasters to stop getting coffee ring marks on the table :p

Just got the call today car will be ready for pick up next monday will be in dealer tues/wed then usual pdi stuff.

So built week 20 pick up wk 23 not too bad for delivery.

The new My12 begins from this week. Mines was built last week and was confirmed as My11 with My12 starting week 22. I will be happy if mine comes with continentals as the dunlops are the worst tyre I have ever had on a car
