My vRS has been built-woooohooooo! Its was born on Tuesday (16th November).....I forgot to ask the dealer how much it weighed!

Should be with me in about 10 days!

manual, petrol,leather,maxidot,dim mirror,rear sensors,spare tyre in racing blue......can't wait!

Well, hopefully mine should have just been built during week 46 (Diesel Hatch, Anthracite with leather- ordered 23rd June).

All I need now is an email from Forces Cars Direct or Motorline Dartford to confirm it...... :S (Fingers crossed!)

I have the same dilemma.

I would like my car in early March as in coincides with my lease expiring. I mentioned this to the dealer & he said 'come & see me towards the end of November'

Candy White VRS manual. Ordered 2 August. Built week 43. I'm finally getting my hands on it this Friday. It has been a long wait!!!!!!!!!!

Congrats to Bettsy on the birth of his new car, some eight weeks earlier than expected. Heres hoping you have a smooth transit over the next few weeks.

A founder member of this topic at last getting there car. It seems petrol cars are coming through at the moment thats the third one on this site in the last week.

Expect a rush of deliveries between now & Xmas, specially as i spoke to the dealer today who confirmed a previous post about 2 boats leaving Emden Friday & 1 on Sunday, to remove a backlog of cars at the port.

Mine is still build this week, but wont be able to confirm till next week that its on its way. Although been advised that it should get straight through to a boat given this weekends clearout.

Placed order 24th May 2010 for Octavia Estate vRS TDi DSG. Parking assists and rain sensitive wipers (yeah, I treated myself). Picked it up about an hour ago.

In other news

1. The CR diesel seems much smoother and slightly more eager than the 4 year old PD I traded in.

2. The DSG box works. Like WOW! I've done 70K miles in the old manual vRS. The new one seems even more fun.

3. If anybody's looking for a 2nd hand one then try Motorline in Canterbury in about a week. It will take them at least that long to clean it. Oh and check the headlight alignment.....

My silver VRS DSG CR Estate ordered 26 June. Now at Emden and it should take a further 3 weeks before it is with me.

theres a bit in Auto express about long delivery times today. The scap wanted to cancel his order and get his £1000 deposit back for his octavia. Dealer said no but when auto express got involved, they refunded him....
