Originally told wk 44, then 45, then 50. Dealer has now confirmed built, so just wait for transport to UK. Hopefully delivery mid January!!

Car 67- yes, from Progress.

Very good to deal with, with the proviso you need to chase them for delivery updates. They are not proactive, but when you do call them, Peter and Andrew are keen to help.

Overall happy, although I do need to take it back for the service interval to be set back to variable, as they changed it to fixed when requested to leave it on variable!

Getting closer - should be at the dealer today :p

Now just got to get the DVLA to transfer the number plate......

Ordered Race Blue hatch TFSi on the 24th Dec, dealer called on Friday to say the build week is 4/5 and should be here at the beginning of March, much better than I had hoped :-))

Forgot to add maxidot when I placed the order, dealer contacted factory and got it added, yipee !

Can't wait 'til March, shame to see the scooby go though it's been great in the snow...

I picked up my Black Magic vRS on Saturday and am very pleased with it. I had the guys from midlandetailing do a new car prep on it before I picked it up

Dealer emailed me today to inform me that: 'Confirmation that your new Octavia is due to arrive at UK port of entry, and will be available for collection during the early-mid part of January' - yipee!

Just need to get my insurance sorted out and a cheap flight to Birmingham to collect - here's hoping the weather improves for my drive back to Glasgow!

It arrived at the dealer on 13th January - unfortunately due to work commitments I am not going to be able to collect it until the week after next :'( Never mind, got my insurance sorted out and I am sure the wait will be worth it!

I've just taken delivery of my vRS Diesel today. Only ordered it in the middle of December so really quick - I was lucky as it's a cancelled order.

Love the car - extras are Maxidot and Rear Parking Sensors.

Mine was completed and at the port in Germany on 30th November. I picked it up last Saturday 15/01/11. Damned snow at Tyne port stopped them from accepting boats/shipments :wonder:

Still I'm very glad I've got it now. The SD card in the stereo is truly a thing of wonder (I wonder how I got by without it before).

such a long time to wait I sold my Fabia VRS when the time was right (just before the 4 year service) ahahah after 2 brilliant years 20000 miles and only £150 less than I paid for it Ebay.. bidding frenzy Have a horse box of a 406 estate HDi at moment and its killing me day after day :-( had to buy a new bike to bridge the gap it got that bad

No Idea when I got my order confirmation form from Skoda to sign it was on there as an option and declined so I had it added Europe wide reading paperwork here it says "2Yr Extended warranty inc RAC £549" but looking at a thread saying its now standard 5 year warranty for Skoda in Norway I would expect Skoda UK to jump on the warranty game like a lot of the others are doing now Hyundai / Kia / Toyota / Vauxhall if it was standard id have put that money towards leather otherwise.
