Thanxs to Briskoda

Featured Replies

Just wanted to take a minute to say how impressed ive been with the Briskoda website, especially the forum.

I have been a member for about 3 months now since i bought my Octy, and have been very pleased to see how well the forum is structured and managed. I have in the past been a member of various other forums such as UK MKIVs, and Performance VW mag, but i have found Briskoda to be the most useful, organised and helpful of all.

I would also like to thank all the members who i have pestered for their excellent advice and patience.

Cheers to all, keep up the good work.

It's the members that make it, so thanks for contributing!!

 How I've felt for the past 22 months! :D

Havn't been here long but I must agree  members seem very nice and might i say intelligent  having looked at various other car forums just to be nosy some were appalling!i'm no prude but can some people only communicate through bad language in every sentence??? well done briskoda.maybe a car and car forum does say something about the person

We've discussed it many times before, and various theories have been proposed, but I'm not sure it's too much to do with the cars, just the community that's built up. People who come on here just to cause trouble or slag others or their cars off seem to leave quite quickly as they find it just doesn't work on here (and I'm not talking about banned users - their numbers are only barely into double figures - and 4 of them are the same person!).

I find this forum extremely useful & enjoyable too.

You can have a laugh & obtain useful advice on any number of aspects. I like to contribute as much as I can (although I shouldn't really do it within work hours!!) because I love it so much. The members on here are great group of guys & gals.

There's only one member that has personally p!ssed me (& others) off. He has recently been banned & it's a better site without him!

Good work Fellas! :D

It's the best forum by far.

A good balance of sensible youngsters and mental oldies:D

 I agree. Great place and some really nice people who heartily and honestly contribute, whether in technical car tuning or other "deeper" areas such as the drawing room :)

Hmm :rubchin: Which catergory do you slot yourself in, Andy? I consider a youthful teenager, but the "sensible" quality contradicts with your sig :P

Sensibility is down to personal assessment like normality in my eyes.

Been here since Sept 04 and its a daily drug. Granted, there are one or two on here that are idiots but hey you cant have everything

I think it is true to say that you can pretty much ask a question about anything on here and get good balanced feedback - with a bit of banter thrown in.

Although I don't post as much anymore since selling my beloved vRS I do pop in quite often just to see how things are going, and everytime its a little better.

I find this site annoying because I can't seem to get any work or revision done once I've logged on. Boy, you could lose me my job and I've only been there 4 days.

Easy answer to that then... log in at home instead :D

That's the problem I'm suppose to be be learning new stuff about the job I've started at home.

Agree wholeheartedly with the comments above. this is a great site and it's the friendliness and approachability (is that a word?) of the members and staff. I too have become addicted to this forum and the technical info and advice is exceptional.

I'm a member of an American forum (along with ADMotorsport) Carspyshots, and a weird police related forum, Five-O. CSS is full of kids and far too cliquey. Five-O seems to be dominated by a guy called Wazza who invents every thread which are usually lengthy bragging sessions about how much of a supercop he is. (Hope he's not on here)

I've also been on the audi forum and Cupra.net.com or whatever and that VW one, but Briskoda is head and shoulders above the rest. Well done Briskodians!
