Does anybody know if the new rear clusters would fit on the older car?:thumbup:

Cannot see why not, the shell has not changed.

Suspect quite expensive for little change.

Comparing my 2004 to my dad's 2005 model it just looks like the lenses have been tweaked, the unit itself appears to be the same physical shape and size.

But how much are they ??

I really like the new versions at night!! I believe they show a "v" on it's side which looks like nothing else, stunning!:thumbup:

They do look very nice at night, like no other car and very different

Have a look for an 05 model at a breakers - hard to find I know but are the rear lights the same across the entire fabia range, or are they different on the vRS

How much are the new lights, I know only cosmetic but I do like to look of them, give the rear a fresher look.

Yes they are a straight swap, and their price.......... (drum roll)

:rock_band

For that price it's not worth trying to find one at a scrappy IMHO. :D

OK Ross, calm down! :) You know what I mean, Skoda... Don't entirely agree with the Merc similarity, sort of see where your coming from with that one though.

It definately makes a refreshing change from a boring strip, anyway!

They are, or the dealers are swapping the lights as my dad's vRS has the new lamps on the back!

It is all but the only change so unless you see one close up it's hard to spot.

Only since August last year...lol

They are a straight swap, have had a few customers ask about it.

Surely, if the headlights were changed it would be a facelift. But if the tail lights were change, wouldn't it be an ar$e lift?
