Silver yeti, at the start of Fred Macauly does the west highland way on STV last night.

Roebuck/Broadwater area of Stevenage, by Tesco, I flashed an approaching red Yeti with * 888 *** personal number plate and got an enthusiastic wave in return from the driver.

Yay, that was me! It was the first time I've been flashed by a fellow Yetian so it would be rude not to give you a wave in return. I haven't been flashed/waved at since my days of Lada Niva ownership - now that was an exclusive club

I do like that Tangerine colour on 'Kevin' - 'Dennis' would have been the same but Skoda don't do it any more, hence one of my other favourite car colours, Tonka toy red

I like a distinctive colour to my car and having had a red Octavia vRS previously I couldn't do red again for Kevin; hence the Tangerine (a bit mucky at present, looks better when clean).

As to waving, I have to go back to my days of owning a Triumph TR6 (late 1970s).

Blue Yeti, coming from Chelmsford towards Danbury. (I was the red one going round the roundabout rather enthusiastically past you)

Blue Yeti, going the other way down the A414, same road, Danbury to Chelmsford (20 seconds later)

Grey metallic Yeti driving up my road right past my house as I was heading back.

Not sure what happened this morning, don't normally see any others apart from family members.

Maybe something to do with it being a working, but not for some, day today and you being out and about at an unusual (for you) time.

This happened to me in mid December, I popped home from work around mid-day to go to the denitst and then dropped into my local Tesco before returning to the office; saw 3 different Yeti (2 in Tesco car park) on the trip.

Busy days spotting for us today.

Red 12 plate 110 4x4 SE urban on the A41 going into Watford.

An identical red 62 plate and a silver. Not sure of spec, with private plate R50*** both in the Colne Valley retail park about 15 mins later.

On the way home I saw a black one, again on the A41 towards Hemel.

Indeed we were ... though I've now found the off switch for the reverse sensors when need be.

Broke all records on my way home this afternoon saw four 62 reg Yetis all from my local dealer and my neighbour opposite has also joined the clan!

Red Yeti (12 plate?) seen parked on various occasions over the past two weeks in St Helier's hospital staff car park ...... anyone here?

Exchanged waves (only the second time!) with the driver - we think a lady - of a silver or grey SM that we passed outside 'The Woolpack' in Stoke Mandeville, about 2:50 pm today.

Grey 1.8TSI 4x4 in Bracknell Waitrose car park, parked next to it so they could chat whilst I was shopping, still there when I left

The cold spell the South are experiencing must have awoken the Snow monsters from hibernation! Saw two this morning and one actually acknowledged me --- my first so I've broken my duck.

Silver (year u/k) Wallington -- gent driver, tipped me the nod.

Met blue (10 plate) Ewell by pass, flew past in the opposite direction, warp factor 7!

Three weeks ago, drove all the way to Austria and didn't see a single Yeti on the way there; same for the return journey late last week. However, in the very small mountain village we stayed in whilst there, there were 3 owned by the locals!

You've still not seen me!

Silver one in Baildon this lunchtime, finally got a wave back!

Dark Greenline, maybe blue or black, on the M4 J15 (Swindon) west-bound slip-road this Monday morning, turning right to go on to the A419. BT12 **L. I hope it was someone here.

Grey or silver one at the lights on Wick Lane in East London today.

Think it was a 60 plate.

No time to flash or wave as I wasn't exactly slow coming round the corner...

White 12 reg Urban in Bracknell liesure centre car park 1100 this morning

I missed it but I'm reliably informed that we passed a Silver or Gunmetal grey Yeti at a junction between Halstead and Farnborough about lunchtime. Daughter got quite annoyed when I refused to turn around so she could wave!

Spotting's proving quite addictive!!
