Phil... what about a mini-meet up & convoy up to the pub? Whetherby Whaler was mentioned...

What time are you planning to meet at the whaler??

Dunno... How about 11.30am at the Whetherby Whaler (YO26 6RA), hang around there for 20 mins if anyone else wants to meet up there first - then convoy up to the pub which is about half an hour away??

Well... there's a couple of folks meeting at mine in Acomb. Perhaps we need a meeting of the two convoys somewhere. How about we all meet in the big lay-by just on the A64. Think its a garden centre and cafe etc opposite the car wash.

Unfortunately with the rivers and bridges the route from their is limited to the ring road unless we fancy a mega trek out of the way to get round and by that time its pointless! Lol

Shouldn't be too bad at that time.

Also I've actually cleaned the car this time. And just changing the oil and filter. Filled up with some Veg oil too.

The wife is thinking of getting rid of the X Trail, so if I can blag a drive in the Yeti, I will definately be there, and eat, and comtemplate spending 25k........

I washed and polished my car yesterday ready for Sunday, and I can't wait.

BTW, The post code (YO60 7JS) which the pub's website gives, is for the English Heritage site, Kirkham Priory. The pub is a bit further along the road just past the junction to 'Firby'.

I checked out the car park on the way home from Filey this afternoon. It's certainly big, but 30+ cars will be interesting!

It will be the car wash for the X Trail.....it's too big to wash by hand for one, and I only ever get to drive it when it;'s either empty or filthy or both, so sod it.
