Willing to giveit another go, it is a joke the chef going home with abadback , dont get me started! your paintwork must be a mass of swirls if you think it blows off. Nobody is blaming you webbo by the way but find it odd you did not say hello, anyway willing to give them another try, clean toilet and loo roll would help too, none in there at 12

Good drive down and nice scenary would have liked to have a walk around the place (not the pub) next time........Food well!! poor really but we all have our off day`s and as simbo say`s FREE food must be worth another go

Can I just re-iterate everyone's comments thanking Chris for organising the day, and it was great to meet up with a number of people I've only previously chatted to on t'internet

Had a pleasant drive there, hopefully not too slow for those following me :think:

And thanks to the two who I set off with to drive back for p*ssing off and leaving me to have a very lonely drive home :'( You know who you are :p

At least we knew how to get to the A64 ;-)

It was Jon's fault!

He overtook me, because I'd slowed down so you could catch up.

That's how we got split up in the queue!

Yet when the traffic cleared,

you never caught me even though I was only doing 56 in the granny lane.

And thanks to the two who I set off with to drive back for p*ssing off and leaving me to have a very lonely drive home You know who you are :p

Thanks for trying to incriminate me Darren but I just happened to set off at the same time, and after you two!

Besides, I think you're being paranoid as his two convoy chums happen to have mk1 Fabia's! :p

I've got to agree about his sense of direction though - not only did he miss the road when he was coming to the pub but he wanted to return back to the A64 an odd way as well.

I am going to organise another meet there.

BUT

1. I'm not going to ask for a free buffet

2. I like the pub

3. The beer is good (Taylors)

4. The location is good

5. The carpark is spacious (Dust isn't too bad)..Shut up Alan!!

6. The food is OK...So I'm going to see if they can cater for us again :S

I'll do a 'sign up' with definite numbers and a time for seating and ordering

If they feck it up, then it will be the last one we ever do there.

I doubt I'll be a regular to these as it's 180 mile or so round trip, but I'll add my thoughts.

It was a good place for a meet, the carpark is a great size and the scenery is grand, however it was completly let down by the pub being so disorganised.

I'd say give them a second chance, however I'd be scouting round for other locations already just in case.

its a long way for me too, someone put a "drive" in there and I'll deffo sign up again
