Welcome to Briskoda, Valerie. Tell us what the note said and we may be able to help identify the culprit! In the meantime, what colour is your car?

Hi Valerie

Welcome to Briskoda! How are you liking your vRS Estate?

Seeing as you are in North Wales, then KLB could be the culprit !!

PS Welcome to Briskoda !!

Colin !!

Really !!

Comments Please !!:D

Hmm. Black is safe but for some reason vRS owners on this forum get excited about it! Could easily have been ColinD - one of the site's founders and Webmaster par excellence. He lives up Norf somewhere and visits Wales regularly for a bit of fun driving. He will be pleased if he has had a 'result' from a spot of impromptu advertising of the site.

PS He's away from his PC at the moment so we are all going to have to wait patiently.....:(

Valerie

I'm afraid you must get used to your car being 'given the eye' , it happened to me all the time when i used to have the vRS hatch! Dont worry , you'll get used to it tho!

just lost my forest green octavia 4X4 had a argument with 40ton daf truck on M1 Car saved our life

Just to echo everyone,

Welcome to briskoda.

You've just gone from a 4X4 to a vRS Estate? Shame on you!! And of course the car saved your life. Tell us lots more, please. eek.gif

travel with my dogs enclosed in the boot in cages and you loose depth because of the 4x4 gear. Thought change of colour and estate has deeper boot. 4X4 on a year old and right off.... lorry hit side impact bar direct.

No, it wasn't me - I live down the other end of Wales.

Welcome to Briskoda, Valerie

You're probably fairly safe from all the bickering and infighting that goes on here. The 4X4 owners will leave you alone, because of the nice things you said about your 4X4. The vRS owners and estate owners will be totally confused, as you have a vRS estate. You're probably not going to get hassled about the colour of your car, unless you happen to be a hairdersser, in which case - WHY ISN'T IT YELLOW??

Only joking

Would be luckier if it was a Superb!!;)

Cheers

Call me cynical , but I don't believe any of this ;) Valerie , in your profile you claim to be an audio-ologist , surely you mean an audiologist and you also claim to have a RVS Estate , surely again you mean vRS , are you sure you are not related to Samandjanet ?

Well Valerie welcome to the site.

Indeed I penned a note and tucked it away in your drivers door mirror. Apologies if it was a bit scrappy, I had driven 200 odd miles since Owestry. A fine spot to park your black vRS estate over looking the river in B y Coed.

Welcome to the site, fabia or rs, both welcome...

If you haven't visited the site before, Valerie, you should be getting a feel for the (usually) friendly rivalry between owners of the various models. Nice to have a member too who has experience of a number of the higher profile models! :D

Welcome to Briskoda

good to see another woman on here!

umm, well I made sure the note was secure for fear it would go unnoticed or "fall out" what with the sunny say it was and all.

I entrust Valerie will know as to where I refer whilst not giving too much away in case it is her favourite walking spot.

I like that place aswell, mainly for the still pool which is a family favourite, really it is, sadly I bounced a marble throught the stainglass door at home depicitng the view up river.

Also Valerie is quite potentially the first was it you sighting, although a bit contrived..off to look for the thread...arghhh somebodys pruned the forums :(
