I feel safer going around a track at speed with tarmac about 15 metres wide, than hurtling toward oncoming cars on an A road, missing by only say 6 feet, with a closing speed of 120mph. I think insurance is more necessary on public roads than tracks. That's just my opinion.

Don't forget I am bringing lots of stickers as well!

I will be there with RoADAR. I have a small favour to ask - if anyone is feeling strong, would they like to pop over and help us put up our tent (payback could be free shelter if it rains ).

Also if anyone has a passenger seat for a track session I'd be grateful for a ride - I'll bring my helmet.

Just updating the car of choice.

Too much work, too many meetings and not enough time to collect the Fabia from Jabbasport before the weekend.

there is some confusion about how the weather front over the Bay of Biscay is going to develop. best to look tomorrow night as it might be clear on saturday and develop on sunday....

weather reports are really only accurate for 24/48 hours, after that is guess work as said before. it will be :sun: .

met office chippenham forecast is now changed to being a bit cloudier in the morning, and a probable shower around 1. Ideal timing lol Just glad I have put the best wheels on the mongrel for water dispersion. Might keep tools in the back and full tank of fuel for stability. Could stick NOS tank in as thats about 25kg to 30kg of ballast at the moment due to being full (but NOS system is dead :().

Outlook for Saturday to Monday:

Patchy rain on Saturday then persistent, heavy rain and strong winds arriving overnight with Sunday wet and very windy. Winds easing somewhat and rain slowly clearing on Monday.

For track only, the fact it's 14-15oC and if it doesn't rain for the two previous track sessions before ours, then track will be quite dry.

It's going to rain on Saturday, no doubt, just a question of when.
