That's why I posted it.....

I would check your wiring first though. Wilsy and I have kits from that shop already so they will fit ours alright. I'd imagine most after market HID kits use the same sort of plugs/wiring.

I'm not sure when I'll get a chance to get them all sorted. Yep seen those connectors, and yep the wee locking ring is included :)

Mine have arrived!

I've seen a couple other kits from different manufactures all having the same wiring but don't take that as gospel.

Congrats :) nice aren't they :)

Also does lamin x has any protective properties? If so

I might wrap mine in a clear film to help look after them.

I would imagine it might help ward off stone chips etc

It does, it's pretty tough stuff.

Good for on the glass foglamps

Anyone got any lying about? Is it expensive?

It is expensive I was thinking that but doubt I'll bother. I haven't seen em yet my mum text me saying they'd arrived. Hopefully my hids will be here tomorrow it does say next day delivery but whether that applies to Saturday's I don't know.

Just need to get some washer covers now.

Could get a set of headlight covers, my mate had factory xenons and used them as he was worried about chipping them

They look poo though.

Didnt think they were that noticeable tbh, was a while ago though :giggle:

My HID's are 6000k at the moment, will 5000k be brighter?

They will be slightly more yellow so might seem less bright, but there will be more light on the road.

4300k is the brightest, the higher the temp, the less light output.

I think 6000k is a bit too blue, but I'm scared about getting 5000k and it's yellow... Bleh! I might get both and decide then.

Can't say I've ever seen any xenons and thought that they were yellow.

As you say, 6000k is slightly blue 4300k is supposedly white and the temp of OEM ones.

I ordered 5000k D2s bulbs. Now for the little adapter leads.

I've got my LED sidelights, LED indicators, resistors for the indicators and 100w high-beam bulbs.

Anything else that I'll need?
