A big thanks to all who attended and made the day such a success.

I personally had a great time and if i didn't need new tyres before I certainly do now! :D

Was disappointed with my best time in the dry practise session but super happy with such a result in the timed laps.

The tension built up in the steady out lap was insane!

It's all for fun, it's all for fun....was it hell!

Luckily managed to hold it all together and put a decent lap in.

Thoroughly enjoyable day and hope to organise a rematch later in the year an dpotentially get a Briskoda track day or at least heavy Briskoda participation in a track day before then

Would be nice to think we could book a whole track to ourselves, but I think the only one we would stand a chance of booking is Llandow in South Wales, and that's probably going to be around £2,000 for the day to split out amongst the masses? Only good thing about Llandow is wet grip is still good, but you will eat tyres there.

This actually sounds like a good idea-if we get enough people to attend... Feeler thread?

We could look at a sessioned bay instead.

MSV do some like this rather than open pit lane, so rather than mixing with all cars you have a 20 minute slot every 60 or 80 minutes.

If there were 20 of us, it would probably mean around 60 other cars, but you'd only actually be on track with the other Brsikodians.

In between you can watch them and socialise. :)

Agree that a whole day may be a stretch so I was just thinking of something similar to what we did back in the day at Hullavington and Colerne - pick a day let people book as they like all arrive and have a good day

Really enjoyed the day i did at Oulton in December or as Harry says I hear that Cadwell is excellent ;)

A long way for everyone down south to go though...hmmm central track? Rockingham? Bedford again?

One thing that stood out for me today was I need an LSD

Coming out of the first corner that big black line was laid down by me. I just couldnt get the power down effectively enough to get any quicker. With or without the ESP on. I could control it how I wanted to with the ESP off but I couldnt make the most use of it.

Difference between Harry and me (the closest comparison for me) in the dry was 5 seconds in round figures. In the wet the difference was 3 tenths :o

If only I could afford one

Finally my Timed lap has uploaded to you tube.

Had a bit of a moment on my first timed lap which slowed me down a bit :giggle:

The format was: One slow lap at 50mph, 2 timed laps and 1 x cool down lap.

What a fun event and great to meet all you guys and a big thanks to Cliff and the MSV guys for putting the event on and even supplying wet and dry conditions. Things didnt start too good for me on the first prastice, 2nd lap out I got a black flag pulled into the pits and the marshall came running over to tell me that my eccles cake were on fire (brakes) maybe worth ditching the standard pads lol I must appologise if I dived down the inside of anybody on the practise session cos I was trying to do one fast lap and two cool down laps to bring the brakes back in, I think the little gen2 fabia went quite well considering it was giving away quite a bit of bhp to some of the big boys. I had a look at the vid last night I managed to catch bossfox spin down at the SS's when I get chance I will put it up

I hope it looked impressive. Certainly felt it. :D

My fault for not getting enough temp into the rears.

There were a couple of corners you followed me through when the rear was drifting about too. Be interested to see that too if you come across it.

Yes, your Fabia did well, good power and low weight as standard. You were driving it well too.

Congratulations on winning. :)

Curly you certainly were the dark horse of the day.

Taking the spare and jack out of the car must have made all the difference

Very impressive times, even more so if its totally standard

I’ve now had time to analize why I was so slow in practice

I spent too much time moving out of the way of others and waving them through - it must have ruined all my lap times

I think it so confused Richard that he didn’t know which way to go

He came past me like a missile, indicated left, then immediately right, I had to slow down even more, just to be on the safe side

Hi guys,I managed to edit my timed lap cutting off the first and cooling off laps. Sorry about the shaky and sometimes white screen. Still looking for a compact camera with good video recording.
