Should of held on for a bit fitting the TT hubs to the yeti! Would of saved a few quid there.

I'd like to say that this nice TT-RS will be cherished and looked after.

But we all know that would be a complete and utter lie.

Drove a DSG and a manual today, bought the 10 plate manual.

May have a few spare TT-RS bits over the next month or two...

You're mad...

Edit - will the subframe transfer across?

Anymore pictures of the lovely condition car that's being ripped up ;)

No flies on you Richard, I am sure this was only mentioned yesterday, now the donor car is here, I am now watching with anticipation..... mainly because I would like to book my passenger at the earliest convenience next season.   :notme:

Yes James, time to crack on.

Fed up with waiting around, getting my work pushed to the back of the queue behind others and wondering if it'll ever be done.

Talking about the Citigo by any chance?

Which brakes will be going on this now then Richard?

Keep the PB ones or use those massive ones?

I'm happy on 17" rims, so will keep what I have.

The TT-RS brakes require at least 18".

More money back into the project pot as I just bought a whole car. :peek:

Got the rotor wheels fitted?

No, the basic ones.

Are you really going to butcher this car?    Would it not be easier to just use it for the track?

I am not suggesting getting shut of the Yeti or anything, just thought it might be good to see how it goes around the track before it gets the chop.

No, the basic ones.

Still a fair amount of value, to put into the equation we sold a set of 6 month old rotors at work with 8mm on original tŷres for about 4k iirc. Obviously Audi parts tend to have a lot more value than Skoda parts. I reckon you could get rid of a fair amount of parts on Audi Sport

Yes, hopefully the body parts will go to a TT-RS lookalike car.

With the nice interior, rims+tyres and Audi premium Nav it might make back a decent amount.

I'm therefore expecting to get the whole drivetrain, loom and ECU I need for little more than the cost of an engine.  Eventually.

Did they valet the car ready for you :giggle: did they know it's future.

I just told them I wasn't that worried about a few little marks.

If I told them I was buying a totally decent TT-RS to break for it's engine I think they might not have taken me seriously.

Did you turn up in the car you'll be fitting it to?
