Are you really going to butcher this car? Would it not be easier to just use it for the track?

I am not suggesting getting shut of the Yeti or anything, just thought it might be good to see how it goes around the track before it gets the chop.

I think people would expect the tt to be quick around the circuit. As fantastic as the yeti is around the bends, it just isn't quite enough on the straights

Yes.

No.

I don't actually like the TT-RS very much.

It's got minimal headroom, a cramped cabin, the handbrake is designed for the passenger to use and I feel a bit of a tit driving it.

Mechanically I like it though. :D

Get a convertible for headroom it comes with its downsides though of making you look even more of a tit, hate driving the mk1s when a customer leaves the roof down makes me look even more of a tool than normal

What can I say!!

Have a TTRS Roadster sat on the drive at the mo,

It is a truly great engine with a nice sound, will be very nice in a Yeti, interested to see how it fairs against a RSQ3.

You're saying he could've just bought the trailer down to your house and got a cheaper engine ;)

I thought so, long live the Yeti RS     RIP TT you have been a worthy donor.

One of the young offenders i used to work with got revenge on the director for education by using a permanent marker to insert the letter i in just the right place on his Audi TT  :D

will this mate it a Skoda YeTTi Rs?

I like what you did

I somehow expected it already  :sun:

I need a fast Skoda for 2015... :peek:

less

and for your next trick watch a RS6 disappear under a Superb...

Jokes aside, this will be a cracking car to watch and see come together

Not wanting to open old wounds but does this mean the Citigo still won't be ready in 2015??

Must admit I find the prospect of this Yeti much more exciting :notme:

And for when Richard gets bored of his 400+hp Yeti...

APR do a stage 3 2.5tfsi package!

It's 600hp!!

Would you not fancy going straight to stage 3 on the Yeti ;)

Too much lag :)

That's what my 1.8 stage 3 is like now.

Normal to about 3,500rpm and then wooooosh!

It's a good package, but that's the side effect of extracting big power from a smaller capacity engine.

One of the reasons I've decided to go the 2.5 route instead of a 2.0.

Unless you have a twincharger ;):D

this will surprise a few people  :D

this will surprise a few people  :D

It already surprises a few... this will astonish them! :D
