interesting 48 hours...

Had to goto Margate to pic my kids up from there nans. they went on holiday with them leaving us kid-less for the first time in 10 years. Any ways... before we went yesterday the postman brought me some pressies.. Super Pro Wishbone kit, and some ARB Bushes, and a CAI kit!

I have always been a bit of a hater of CAI kits but i have adapted mine to sit a bit higher than usual. (more on that tomorrow)

So the interesting part.. pot holed alloy, Sheered bolts!!

These 3 bolts were holding my ball joint to my wishbone.. started to get a knocking noise under hard braking and hard acceleration. no fking wonder! look at the state of those mofos! movment had mashed my steering and ruined the threads on the bolts. the nylon bts have totally gone and i could not get them off! Now fixed with bad ass bolts and washers with proper nylock nuts. (daym you Mr clutch crappy stock parts)

short story... had to reverse into a tight road ona steep hill... need to drive onto path, swing car round into road. in the 14 years i been with my wife i have none this a million times with no prob. Except for last night.. slipped down the curb didnt i..

3:26am, i just got in from driving around London City! was lovely.. I can report that there was no hickups, nothing seems to be leaking, everything works and theres no warning lights! WIN!

yep tunnel is right next to the london eye. W8 Performance are arranging a tunnel run soon and this will be one of the places we visit.

had a heart attack today..when my EML light come on. Was my relay for the SAI spazzed out. Cleared fault in Asda Car park using my Torque app and its been fine since!
