Tomorrow, the Wheels return from the powder coaters when i finish work. Tuesday i hopfully finish all the small bits left, Wednesday i tax it! Getting close now!

amazing how just switching that pipe around improves the looks! and what does the extra earthing actually do?

The idea of a grounding kit is to provide a better earth to engine components than the standard wiring gives. This can help with all sorts of issues like idling problems, interference etc. Some even claim a power increase but generally this is because you've already lost that power due to a dodgy earth somewhere.

^^^ copied from robs site coz im lazy!

ahh i see! always wondered what it did! haha does it have the same principles on diesels or just petrol's?

i did a similar thing on my TDI bora mate. All your really doing is giving a better earth around the bay to all engine electronics/components. The OEM earths on cars can be a little thin wired, or corroded points giving bad connections etc. I just used 8 gauge Amp wire and gold loop end connectors.

thanks! i might have to do it more just for the looks really but then i will probably want to start getting all the pipes around it changed to match... could be a downward spiral for my bank account.. :(

oh and just to let you know i just read on prept facebook page that its not on next month.. 4 hours ago. "

No Prept nx month due to the Para Oylmpics"

Im sure its not to everyones taste but i like it.. i also painted the under part of the seals black as they were a little wonky from tards jacking it in the wrong places. looks a load better from the side.
