Glove box light unit trouble! Please help

Hi all,

When taking apart my glove box i knocked the glove box light apart and cannot figure out how it all goes back together! Specifically i cannot work out what the two ends of the spring connect to?

Can anyone describe how to rebuild the unit?

Or does anyone have any pictures of the unit put together so I can rebuild mine?

decided it is finally time to catalog all the bits n pieces I've done to Gandalf (MY17 Superb 162TSi). its been 3.5 yrs, and a lot has been done, but u wouldn't think that looking at it. below is full listing of everything I've done. all things small, and some big. Hi I would like some advice feedback. I just had my 3rd major service for my 2023 Skoda Octavia VRS and noticed that this time they used 0w-20 oil but the previous they used 0w-30w oil. According to my understanding the oil recommended for the tsi engine is 0w-20 to its thinner viscosity meeting emissions regulations and being better for the turbo engines under heavy loads than the 0w-30 which has a thicker viscosity. Thankfully i don't place much load on the engine, apart for loading the car f

Phone not ringing for incoming calls

When I receive a call it does not now ring on the infotainment system although I can see I have a call on the screen. I wondered if it might be my phone so I tested it with my wife's, with the same result - or lack of. Both phones will ring in her car though. Any ideas please?

Octy 2 1.4TSI ESTATE CAXA Quite uncertain where to enter this question. The keyfob#1 has started to cause serious problems with the car alarm system. So far keyfob#2 is working with no problem. Car alarm starting randomly and only disconnecting the battery helped. Yesterday the alarm kept sounding/flashing even when the engine was running - undrivable. Is there a home cure whereby I can remap/reset the key fob? My very helpful auto sparks is unable to help
