If your needing help get any skoda part send me a message i have access to all vag excess stock at really cheap prices due to a realtive being high up in a dealership:)

Thanks for that, I will contact you if needed.

I believe the main challenge in terms of parts will be the WRC body kit because nobody seems to do them now.

It will be salvageable from the Rallycross car, but it's had a fair bit of use. So there may be a fair bit of recommissioning to do...

A new front bumper would be good, but not sure where to find one at this stage. Probably better to ask around in the Czech Republic although I am not sure it's going to be possible to find one whole.

This is why I have gone down the route of a Rallycross 4x4 Fabia as a template/donor car.

It has a lot of parts I need and will show us how to make a Fabia 4x4.

  • No, I found a very cheap 1.2 petrol with high milage at an independant dealer. Doesn't even have electric windows. Perfect! When I mentioned the car's future it was suggested by the dealer that a

Off the top of my head im sure they had a skoda accesorie bodykit and a few other sporty bits

The main thing i can rember is the 11sets of eibach lowering springs for an octavia vrs estate going for under half the usal price

I have some 14 inch chrome spinner wheel trims I'd happily donate if you were to go with 14' steel wheels.

Those aren't actually rims, just wheel covers, aren't they? Looks like what used to have those on my winter banger.

He said they were trims...

My carbon bonnet came from a chap in germany who rallycrosses/crossed a bright yellow 4x4 500hp fabia,

So trims are just a posh word for wheel covers? Sorry mate, my bad. (ESL)

Nice looking "Base" car,

Enjoy your weekend in CZ.

Do you have any idea of time scales for the build at this stage?

Do you have any idea of time scales for the build at this stage?

Well...

The plan was to get the car ready for next year's season for track days, Brisky shows and Santa Pod visits.

So 8 to 10 months.

But I seem to have got a bit carried away already, going from idea stage to buying a few cars in a week or so.

Not sure how long the engineering side of things will take with regards to the four wheel drive and rear end modifications.

But I'm starting to wonder now if it'll be ready to catch a few events at the end of this year in Sept/Oct. That would be pretty cool.

I guess one of the main factors will be how Jabbasport can fit it in between existing projects and work.

The problem is, I tend to be a bit gung-ho when I'm interested in something.

(like the photo challenge last year)

Looks a nice tidy little car at the moment but i'm sure when it's all finished, it will look a bit like a Jeykll and Hyde car!! :D

I keep reading this to get the latest on what's happening. :)

i wish i had the funds for a project like this!! Ill be watching this one for sure!

Any more updates?

Dying to see this come along!!!
