It was a joint effort between my Grampa and I since he's got experience with fitting tow bars.

Loving the car @faboka vrs, very shiny.

Thanks. In the past year it’s been hit twice on the rear passenger side so got to sort that out at some point. But for the age the paint works not bad.

Next-door letting me use their drive whilst we get new facias and guttering installed.

Honestly this seems to have done better in the crap weather than most 4x4s I've seen. Still soldiering on nicely.

My battery has decided it doesn't like this cold weather. Very slow to crank on first start today. Probably have to get one.

Same here actually, mine had been scooting about the village, and a trip to the other village to get to the post office, so maybe about 15-20 miles all this week. Took a bit to get it going, so done about 30 miles in it today when I went shopping. It's not getting used the way it was since I'm off university until just after the New Year.

This is the other end of the scale from Loftys project Daffodil  🤗

 

 Ahh well at least I don't have to blank the number plate with the mixture of grime soot and motorway salt.

 

Definitely the rattiest Fabia on this forum by a long way - I promise I will get her cleaned over Santa time !

Mines rattier than that and you don't have to worry about blanking your number plate because it's public domain information, it's designed to be seen even at night.

I'm just an old skool engineer, more concerned with how well stuff works rather than what it looks like, people seem to get that idea mostly arse about face on here.

This weather with all the mess on the roads its tempting not to clean 'as it will get dirty again' but sorry, I don't like driving dirty so after a weekend wash.
