Miss my petrol hatches. N/A FTW.

Is that in build quality? Or engine??

Both! TFSI engine is a cracker! :) Mind you my primera GT was the best handling car ive ever owned.

I rate the Vrs high for an impressive diesel car :)

Yes skyline loved the pumps but the Silvia loved them more lol

Mk1 was a daily hack / family wagon. I had the Lotus during that time for a quick car.

Mk2 has some little bits done, but again a family wagon so I won't mess about with it.

I keep trying to find a new track car, but in the middle of moving houses.

That is a monster!!!! Is it still about???

I did hear that the insurance for one was a million pounds!!! And it was a nightmare were to park it!!!

I have to say the xfs was so quick,,, it was a demonstrator

I think it's long since gone to the great automobile graveyard, but it was a beast! :'(

I was late 20's when I had her and iirc £650 fully comp sounds about right, the first Cosworth was a killer, I was 19 and I paid £1800 per year third party fire and theft!! :o

Ok here goes - really not as old as this is going to make me sound ( honest) - do loads of mileage and often running more than one vehicle

Ok will shut up now

Doh! Sorry I have put down the year of the car, not the year I owned it!!

Ha ha was thinking you'd just done a 12 stretch lol

2013 - Octavia vRS TSi (maybe) ;)

You should buy mine, seriously. Unless something drastic happens i'm placing an order for a new car in Sept, so delivery some time early 2013 i'd guess. If i could find a home for mine in advance i'd leave all the mods on rather than have the hassle of returning it to stock..

:)

What type of track car you lookin at ken???

Have you thought about a Clio or something bigger like a Subaru?

Ideally I would buy a kit car, but expect I will go for retro hatch!

Can't remember all, but in quick sucession: fiat coupe, 200sx, 306 Xsi, Rover 420GSI Turbo, Corrado, Prelude 2.2 Vti.

early 2000's: Ford Focus RS mk1, Mondeo ST220 x lots.
