I took the 14 out while mine was in for it's MOT, was not comfortable on the leg position, but its got the power, but your right there's not enough difference in it to warrant a change.

And i do like the fact mines a bit unique

well, give me a few days it looks like a bombs hit it! single garage with most of that stuffed in plus the usual garage junk, takes some oranising :wall:

Hi folks.

I'm new around here, since my wife bought a Skoda last week.

I don't actually own a car, only three motorbikes: a Triumph Street Triple 675, a BMW R850R and a Honda Z50, which is on Historic/Club plate.post-96692-0-36521800-1352753257_thumb.jpgpost-96692-0-10785000-1352753349_thumb.jpgpost-96692-0-06459800-1352753315_thumb.jpg

danny it does look as if its going to transform and charge at my screen an knock me out! Looking again at the top pic it seems it even has its own punch bag to practice!

I'm having thoughts about chopping my bike in for a lesser model! FYI currently own a GSXR600 and to be honest its silly fast etc but its more than I need so I'm thinking whats the point in having it?! I used to throw my old VFR400 around like a rag doll and it was so much fun but these are getting bloody dear, all the VFRs / RVFs seem to be rising in price!

I am tempted by a ZXR400 or an SV650S as I've begun to love the sound of V-Twin!

Not to mention I could get around £3000 for my GSXR and then another bike for £2000 - £2500 which would leave me some change.

Undecided between the Curvy or Pointy SV though?

Its a tough one I took a 80BHP power drop with the current bike its by no means a slow bike but in comparison feels like a moped! I have always said I would have another ZZR600 which is where I started though.

Sorry CrazyCam I missed your post I saw it on mobile in work but didn't have time to reply. Nice to see an Aussie biker in our ranks bet its some handling in the hotter months over there I struggle with summer in western Europe!

Adore my Suzuki Gladius - slightly heavier than the SV650S - but not a fairing girl  I'm with you on the sound of a V-twin :p

Fairings can make a bikes design or break it! But if you do big miles/tour you need them big time IMO.

Not sure why but always liked the "Naked" bike look :) . You are right though, do got buffeted about with a headwind - good excuse to eat more cake to anchor me down though :p

I love the current Z750/1000 super naked looks mean as hell! That said the ability to cut through the air as cleanly is compromised I can't say I was ever over taken by any naked bike in my life. Autobahn rules = fairing or get the bus :D

Head down between the clocks and right leg hooked behind usually works quite well

Here speaks a biker of national speed limit breaching experience I suspect :D

Forgot to post this ages ago :D Apparently I am being told that there was a speed trap back the way I came and I should expect a ticket. I think I was just miffed I overtook him I saw no camera and reviewed the footage. To date nothing has come through.
