Featured Replies

Finally arrived. Should've waited to wash the car but was so excited. He he. Got to do the front, but this is the rear.

  • Reflection appears to show some old man wearing a bra!

  • Can someone with the new badges post up some before and after dyno curves, please, as I’m anxious to know how many extra horses they are making

  • My original badges were starting to delaminate and were looking tatty so I decided to change them out for the newer black ones. Very happy with how they look and I think the suit a black car nicely.

looks nice but the old one look more premium and look royal

the new logo look simple i think so because of "VW"

Finally the badge arrived, thick fish line to ease the glue, plastic trim tool to lift and voilà (easy to align with the lugs) :-

Just the wheels next....

The new rear one is soo much nicer, glad I waited. I'm the same, just the wheels now

I reckon the new badges look awesome... Was never a real fan of the old ones. ;)

Love the colour but shouldn´t let the kids play with the VRS

I've re-wrapped the grill after polish discoloured the first attempt.  Whilst I was at it, I decided to match the back of the new badge too.

What do you think?

Not sure if I do or don't, something about the badge floating.

Good job on the wrap though and perfectly lined up

Perfect!!!

How?!

How do you wrap the badge? If so, the chrome bits just clip off.  Then it's just a case of lining up the pattern and patiently carving bits out of the vinyl (around the clip holes).

I replaced my boot logo on the Columbus to this :) (no idea how or if it's possible on the Amunsden+)8.png

Excellent, and how does one go about doing something like this?

The new badges remind me of vauxhall for some reason, think I'll stick with the old...... Plus I can't be @rsed to change them !!

Most these days are black and chrome. I like them, but I know what you mean however the delamination on all including my wheel badges prompted the change

I replaced 3 full sets before I got the new style  badges, All the models in the showroom have them now, so soon the tin worm ones will date them

Our car got a full set fitted today.

wheels bonnet and boot.

looks fantastic now.

And I never had to lift a finger either.

Another great day at Parkview Skoda.

Thanks John.......

New badges look great. Will have to get some ordered!

Well after reading every post on this topic for the last few months and still being left a little confused as to what would or wouldn't fit my 2012 octavia Vrs probably more down to me being a bit thick to be fair I ended up speaking to Rainworth Skoda who informed me that they now make the new front and rear badges for my exact car which have the lugs in the correct place and fit perfectly. I can now confirm this after fitting both new front and rear badges today. The part numbers were as follows

5J0853621AAUL

5J0853621AUL

Both cost £18.99 each delivered

Only took 2 days to arrive and look absolutely fantastic on my white car with a candy black front grill hope this helps anybody that is still a little confused

Paul

Cheers Paul - I'm now confused by the candy black grill tho :| Is it candy white?
