Proud of it?

I've removed the clutter of the Octavia letters and the V badge at the back is going to come off as well, simply to make the rear end more svelte. The Skoda badge is still there and will stay there.

At the end of the day we're all badge snobs, or we would be driving round in Kia's (they're good cars now you know) or Perodua's. And how many Dacia's are on order from members of this site?

Ive removed the FABIA letters from the back of mine purely cos i think its looks miles better and its easier to keep clean! My skoda badges are still intact

SWMBO's mum has an A4, very nice, 1.8t Quattro all the trimmings...no it's bloody nice and I'd buy it off her tomorrow.

At the right price ;)

Thats the key for me, I don't love my cars enough to pay a premium for them, there is no point me buying an audi when the Octy does everything functionally the same, if not better as it's lighter. I choose the technical package that works for me, always been a function over form man. Hell if the shell was cast iron I'd buy it asusming it was at the right price and had functional potential.

Nearly called Star about an S4 they have for sale (on behalf off); well ok I did call them...price was right, car is defo right...moral commitments prevent :([/quote']

yip totally agree  thats why i went for my A4, was cheaper than the new octy PD130 i wanted. plus it had 4wd and a pertol engine
