I know they were really busy when I had my work done and that was 2 years ago.

You'd best give them a call or stop by :)

I've had my car 4 years this month, so had the timing belt and water pump replaced. £248 so not bad at all :)

And my new sub frames arrived at last :)

My mot is due next week so I'll get my seats fitted after that

Mot passed for another year :) only an advisory for a cv boot that has started to split.

Think I'll replace the whole cv joint though as it needs to come apart

As Charlie suggests, best to Give Ali a call as they're really busy. I live in Hinckley (1hr or so drive) and won't take my car anywhere else.

I'm still waiting for my call back about 6 months later :)

You're a bit far from them aren't you Dan :D

Admittedly I'm planning a trip to dirty torque at some point

Sorry this has probably been asked elsewhere but where did you get hold of the badges from?

I thought they would have been interested in me spending near on a grand at the time ;)

Sounds good! I'll pop down if I'm not busy! I'm hoping to be back there soon

Oh cool that will be good :)'I'll let ya know when I'm going :)

Think I found the problem.

Here's the "matching" pad

Did ebc ever get back to you about that..? Ive heard it happen a couple of times now and theyve replaced the pads and asked for the failed ones back..

I didn't get a chance to message them. All the pads went straight in the bin. Wouldn't want replacements from them after that

Can't wait to test it out. Just need to get a uk plug adapter.

Can't complain though as it's a freebie

Went along to the rolling road day at AmD Essex today. The car dyno'd at 197bhp and 301 lb/ft

Gotta say that car does look great mate :) I do like the bits of silver which break up the black such as the rims, badge and tailpipes!

Thanks mate :)

Great result today Charlie and such a smooth graph! You must have felt pretty smug :)

Nice results Charlie. Is that running your new blower?

  • Author

Thanks Adam, I think mine was the highest powered Fabia of the day so maybe a little smug :)

Still not fitted the new turbo yet Barry, so will get a bit more in future :)

Went well Charlie, I really think you are in a sweet spot there with usuable power and drivability without having too much of the former.

Great result.

  • Author

Thanks Richard :) I really am impressed with that. Next step is to get a diff to really make use of the power. But having a hybrid pd150 turbo sat in my room is very tempting :D

B) Love the picture... very shiny :)
