I have a few questions that im unsure of seems its my first track day.....

1. Any checks i neeed to do in advance?

2. What time do we need to get there for?

3. How many of us are at the premier inn on friday night :)

1. Just usual roadworthiness stuff - POWDERY check would be handy

P - petrol (or diesel)

O - Oil

W - water (i.e coolant but could apply to washer fluid too)

D - Dents - bodywork fine

E - Electrics - Ensure all working

R - Rubber - Tyres, enough tread and at right pressures

Y - YOU! (not too tired, well briefed at briefing, watch some sessions first, good mental attitude, etc)

  • Enjoyed today, will give myself a push to get on track next time. I should of hopefully managed to get a picture of everyone. First time shooting any moving vehicles so could do with some improvemen

  • Why do we all do these events ? For the most part it's the chance to get together with other like minded Skoda fans. And also the chance to explore the speed thrill and handling of your chosen ride. W

Included with each entry ticket is a £3.50 voucher for bacon/sausage bap & a mug of tea.coffee - but before 9am, from Combe cafe.

I will leave it here then...

You know if you bring it, it will only rain anyway :D

I'll search out some places in Chippenham for breakfast then as doubt i'll be there before 9am. :D

Guys, I will probably have a track day camera (or two) spare on the day, if anyone does not have one and wants to record their exploits on the Brisky session.

I will be using them earlier on, but if a mounting is stuck on in the morning it can be swapped between cars before the 2:00pm session and given back to me later.

You'll have to bring a micro SD card if you want to take the footage home, otherwise I'll send it later.

I'll use a camera Richard please. Not had a chance to sort a mount for the Roomster yet.

Thanks J5

I'll be plugging in the 380 you are bringing in to the rear screen so I am recording two ways ;) Mustn't forget to bring the 300 with me.... :D

I will have a 400 in the front screen..

I will also have the wife with the DSLR on the side lines but this does not mean we will have any pictures though!

Anybody else taking a camera for the after event pictures?

Jason, is that the same stand position as the last years spring action day?.

Lets hope it stays dry if it is, otherwise we'll be swimming in the mud again.

I ruined a pair of trainers last time. I'll either be taking wellies or an old pair of trainers I don't mind ruining.

As I'm not on track with you guys I'm taking my Nikon and a tripod, hope to get a shot of most of you...

J5, will sort you out with a GoPro3 mount in the morning.

Have another if anyone wants.

Really looking forward to this now!

Richard, I wouldn't mind borrowing one if there is one going spare? Wouldn't mind a rear view too :)

Car is nearly prepared too, its had a new set of front discs and Ferodo DS2500 pads inc. Gulf racing fluid, powerflex dogbone mount, Shark have removed the torque limit so its running the power it should be now, and finally the battery cable is in place ready for the battery to be moved to the boot mid-week along with a service.

It'll be getting a pasting as usual :D

Perfect.

The smallest is a bit naff, but if you want to rig one up in your car I'll give Simon the other to act as a rear facing.

He does do quite a bit of overtaking. :)

I need to remember to hook up my rear camera so i can record everyone catching up and overtaking me again. :D

Tickets etc arrived this morning J thanks

If anyone finds an extra entry ticket in their envelope can they let me know please? It seems I missed one out of one envelope, yet I accounted for all the ones which were ordered which seems odd? I can only assume if went in the wrong envelope, possibly Gillwibble's, or M12MKD's as they were either side of said envelope in my pile.

I got 2 bacon tickets jase but not sure I got an entrance ticket, will double check
