When we are going on track, what do you guys do with the loot out the boot? I will have overnight stuff and camera bag etc. Just lash it down with a net or put it in somebody elses car?

  • Enjoyed today, will give myself a push to get on track next time. I should of hopefully managed to get a picture of everyone. First time shooting any moving vehicles so could do with some improvemen

  • Why do we all do these events ? For the most part it's the chance to get together with other like minded Skoda fans. And also the chance to explore the speed thrill and handling of your chosen ride. W

Another car works best. Lose the ballast!

When I used the Yeti I had quite a bit of stuff in the back and it was a complete mess by the end.

Ballast will be taking photographs on the side lines (I lover her really) :bandit:

I just dump all my stuff around the gazebos - I won't have that much anyway. On track at 14:00 sharp (hopefully....)

Jason, have you got any Brisky stickers like the banners I had done?

I did get some off you last year, but I need more...

Sorry, no packs of stickers been sent by the bosses this time.

Boo!

I left mine in the car last year but might try to leave it by the gazebo.

I think I will just lob the spare wheel and the man-bag of tools. Other bits can stay in. I'm not out for weight saving else I wouldn't have offered a passenger ride. Defeating the object! :D Just about the fun!

I'm taking a gazebo. Happy to store stuff under it, but it is by no means secure storage

We'll get Miss Piggy and Octygone to keep it secure. ;)

I will be turning up on the day.....Octavia II vrs

About bl**dy time you signed up to here

If anyone finds an extra entry ticket in their envelope can they let me know please? It seems I missed one out of one envelope, yet I accounted for all the ones which were ordered which seems odd? I can only assume if went in the wrong envelope, possibly Gillwibble's, or M12MKD's as they were either side of said envelope in my pile.

Only one ticket in my envelope arrived on Saturday. Thanks for arranging once again Jason

Good to see you're offering to haul my new paperweight around track ;)

We will see what space we have got under the Gazebo as well .......we will try and keep an eye on it ..but as above NOT secure storage

I think Boss Fox could do with an industrial sized pack of stickers for himself at the rate he changes cars

Last year during the track session there was nobody left in the area of the clubstand, those that were not on track headed off to watch our session from a more unrestricted view. An overnight bag really won't make much difference to the car on track, I'd just leave it in the boot.

Weather forecast looks kind of hopeful, in that its not going to rain but the 20C weather this week is being replaced by around 10c on Saturday so its going to be very cold.

Harsh... but fair. :giggle:

To be honest, i think i will just leave it in the car. If i was going to go on a serious weight cutting exercise on both myself and the car, then i would take it out but, as you say, an overnight bag won't add too much.

I may clean the car but if it rains Friday I won't be. Not going overboard with taking stuff out.

As I have found out in the past, if that track is even slightly greasy, get as much weight over that rear end as possible! :D

Probably a good idea to get any loose items into a bag or tied/bungee'd down, there is nothing worse than things smashing around and making a racket!

I'll pop along and check your stand out , taking the Skyline so will be with another club . I mean how embarrassing would it be to have a Datsun on a stand with a load of Skodas;):)

Richard? :D

There'll be a bright yellow R35 there with a daft number plate!

(unless I'm on a track session)

I know Richard you are hard to miss!! :) I'll pop along and say Hi
