4th gear flat in the Fabia will be about a 100 mph (not that I have ever gone that fast on a public road) I won't be cornering at 100mph! Dunlops squealing for mercy etc.

Citigo, Roomster, Suberb... what with the usual Fabias and Octavias we almost have a full model line up!

Yeti... maybe, but Rapid probably not I feel.

I could trailer the Fabia behind the Yeti but I can't drive both around the track...

Last year Tigger said we were almost silent on track. Hopefully the Citigo will change that

I'll watch this thread for a while, if I come along it will be a stand pass only just like last year.

Here's hoping for better weather, perhaps its worth asking if the club could have its stand on something more solid than the mud bath of last year.

Sadly the stands are nearly all affected by wet weather. There's no true hard standing apart from in the trade section where all the drift cars usually park up.

I usually just try to avoid crashing.

The good thing about the Briskoda session is the drivers are sensible and the cars are generally similar speeds.

Except for when Rich brought his GTR!

I'd like to come not least because it's a day after my 40th birthday.

But sadly it's also the first anniversary of my mother in laws death

and Mrs Grr may need me to be around.

I'll see how things go in the meantime but would really like to get my

new car out there if I do come. I'll wait it out and see if non skodas

are allowed as the time draws nearer. I'll be watching this space...

I am really hoping this is the first all-Skoda one. Early take-up has been positive but needs to gather a bit more momentum before I can count my chickens. I don't care about the stand as much as we can chuck the non Skodas at one end in disgrace.

I just wish time would move on so we can stop bleating about and actually be there and get on it!

Not even sure my Kangoo would get me to the track, never mind

round it. It's got a maximum speed of 48mph (gps confirmed :p ) due to

a massive boost leak. It will go faster but as soon as it's on full boost

it blows the same amount of smoke out of the back as a Challenger tank

trying to hide itself.
