Clubstand is unlimited - Just anyone driving / passengers need an entry ticket to get in.

But at Japfest a few months later they seem to be changing to £20 per car, no passengers or 4 the same price.

NOBODY MENTIONED POLISHED CARS! I don't do all that wax on wax off karate kid stuff! Do I need to make an effort for show purposes or are we not on parade?

IMHO the 'stand' is very much a 'come as you are' affair. Some polish, wax, clean etc. some don't. Don't let it put you off coming down and joining in the fun

In the 4 years or so I've been going I don't think I've ever made a special effort to clean the car beforehand, if I did it would have been at a convenient roadside 'wash and scratch' on the way down

By the time most of us get there our cars are filthy.

All you need for clubstand only is one ticket per adult @ £10 + 60p postage. Doesn't matter if its 1 car, 5 people, or 5 cars, 1 in each - just need an entry ticket in to the venue, and thats your day's entertainment (barring cost for food, etc)

I read and understood the post, but not being a regular to any shows/meets i somehow thought that the clubstand was more for those that had done a shed load of work tuning or just keeping it minty fresh etc for people to look round and drool at. As others have cleared up for me though, thats not the case.... Like i said, i didn't feel my car would would be very drool worthy, 1 lovely corroded front wheel and swirly whirly paint! I didn't want to lower the tone of the brisky stand! lol

Nope - "clubstand" is merely a large Skoda parking area. Really doesn't matter much about mods/cleanliness (of the cars ) etc

Last year Tigger said we were almost silent on track. Hopefully the Citigo will change that

Ahhh My Puppy has a 4" slash cut non res exhaust on it. it's a bit loud, wonder if it will get through the sound check?!?!?

Unless its totally stupid loud, it should be OK.
