Watched the video, the daylight running lights are way better looking in the MKII, and that rear spoiler is a bit too subtle..

Agree about the spoiler.  12 months time it'l be cheaper hopefully.

Hopefully they make rear mudflaps to square off that rounded ass. Pity they didn't keep the drls in the bumper.

Nice car, petrol is better.

Only colours that won't be common are left field choices, like yellow, green and primer.

Spec too tight at the price, would buy something else personally.

I also believe it won't hold it's money that well, it's an Octy so going to be quite common. £15k drop in 3 years on list or more?

 

Darn you for talking sense! I had already specced up the one I wanted (£28K GTFO!) But it would save me having to change the tyres on the current one, surly that helps justify it in my mind.... 

 

ps. still furious about race blue being range wide now! 

4 new tyres and tax on my yeti was a big deciding factor on placing my order, although after I drove one I didn't have to justify it to myself.

Its 129 on the Hatch but the estate is listed as 132, at least it is on the VRs brochure I have.

In case anyone cares, since I'm from Romania, I just ordered my car today. TSI DSG in Race Blue with the Gemini Anthracite. I ticked basically everything except the leather option. Due to ordering the panoramic sunroof as well, the delivery date is up in the air.

 

They also had a second hand low mileage pre-facelift Superb there with a lot of toys on it (electric boot and pano roof too) which was about 7k cheaper. Got really tempted by it, quite classy inside, but dear me, the size! It's a bus! I really couldn't justify a car that big... And when you think the new one will probably get even bigger, you start to think about what they're smoking at those management offices in the auto industry today. It must be good!

Congrats pal, I hope the wait isn't too long for you. Ordered mine 2 weeks ago (estate, after originally ordering a hatch 4 weeks ago but didn't want to wait till jan), still no word on a build date

Yeah, mine is going to be an estate as well. The wait, I'm afraid, is going to be very long. But I'm willing to wait since I'll be keeping the car for quite some time and I want to have it covered in toys.

 

And the dealer said that none of the RS's ordered in Romania so far have a build date yet. Figures!

Stock Skoda style diesel 2 pipe backbox which is partly shrouded by chrome finisher.

From some angles you can see the floor through the finisher.
