The spec seems feature rich, although looks like many will be optional extras, wheel choice etc. Wonder how many features will be left off the UK version??

Me too, I reckon you'll be looking at 23.5k OTR for a TSi manual hatch at least; thats assuming this time the petrol is still cheaper than the derv.

Given the two engines, I think the diesel will be the cheaper one for the first time, if not then they could be priced the same.

Will they allow steering wheel controls for Radio etc on the manual this time !!!!! as i retro fitted this to my FL & it is so much safer changing radio & music tracks.

Really glad theyve seen sense to dechrome it this time; the grille on the MK2 is one of my biggest bugbares.

Too all the people who whinge when looking at spy shots, take note and remember the final product can look quite different

The RS looks great, glad there is a 19in wheel option too.

So the wheels in all the photos - are they the standard 17s or they one of the optional sets? I suspect they are one of the optional sets i.e. the photos you are seeing has extras which bump up the price
