Octavia vRS

Or, if I don't spend two weeks jumping through hoops for a 50/50 chance of £100, they will have more time & money to start fixing the road.

Either way, it's far from ideal. I travel to France often. Their roads are SO much better!

  • Can't see that anyone has posted this yet, so though I'd pop it up. New video out today.  I noticed I was the second view.   Have to say, it looks good.   http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1WbzoVrIZ

  • Can you not take this to a new thread. I'm subscribed on here for mkiii vrs updates. Not the age old argument of diesel vs petrol. Christ you'll be slagging off macs and pc's next :(

  • I will never understand those that defend their own car make by slagging other makes off. OK, if you've had a particularly bad experience with a certain car make, tell the story, etc. but don't sugge

French cars are always breaking down, hence less traffic to ruin the roads.

And the German ones even better!

And cavemen drive M1 Vrs Octavias! same traffic , just 4 times the land mass, that is why traveling is easier, I do 2000 miles a year on French roads and never seen any make of car broken down

"humour"

Partly my fault, but we're way off topic!

New Mk3 vRS anyone?

My dealer was telling me yesterday that they have been advised by Skoda that there are production delays with the vRS, the estate will be the first to be delivered but they don't expect deliveries of the hatch until the new year.

so the vrs is available in all regular colours plus meteor grey?

And rallye green and sprint yellow for the vrs exclusives

The new Octavia is lighter than the old one, that is the reason why the 225/35 19 tyres are approved (with the 88 load index).

So new signature colour is?

Meteor Grey.

Meteor Grey.

...and Sprint Yellow and Rally Green.

A new signature colour that will blend in with 80% of the cars on the road. Bizarre.

Got a picture of one in meteor grey?

I have, but in my mind. and he is 100% correct.

So, a collective dislike of a colour that nobody has seen?

Chronicbint, you're not a fan of the MKIII are you? :giggle:

Chances are it will be exactly the same as the meteor grey used on the superb which there are quite a few photos of

Bar being a Matt Greg I don't think it's possible to not blend into the rest of the cars on the road

I am actually, I like it a lot, just picking random "faults".

This was posted somewhere else, believe its Audi meteor grey, so going to assume something similar. Pretty much just a fairly drab grey.

It would look good in meteor grey with an orange roof, spoiler and mirror housings!?!?

Thanks for posting, it it's that colour, it will be my choice. I couldn't care less about 'exclusive' colours. People were getting really upset on here about race blue no longer being an exclusive vRS colour, I just don't understand that at all.

Oh not fussed about "exclusivity" just not a fan the greys, seem too common. Like the brighter side of the colour spectrum. :giggle:

I would kill for British Racing Green.

My Mk2 was Black, my current is Anthracite. Not sure what colour I'd go for if I decide to go for a Mk3.

Isnt that a DS3 sport

Metor grey is not a metallic and if it is anything like Porsche's metor grey (which is metallic) it will be a very dull shade. Wouldn't be my choice.
