Hi Everybody!

I'm Chris and i'n now to the forum. I've been meaning to join for over a year but have only just got round to it! i'm currently driving a Fabia 1.4 as my daily run around since September 2011. Its a good little car but it's getting a bit tired and lacks power so i should be picking up a VRS some time this month. the classic hit 100,000 miles this month and is still doing strong mechanically here's a picture i took of her in the summer.

I vinyl wrapped the grill as i was bored of the chrome and it had a few stone chips. unfortunately i had an argument with a curb not long after this picture resulting in a broken bumper, bent wishbone and a few other bits and bobs. i picked up a new bumper from the scrapyard with fog lights for £36 which was a bargain. after a bit of work it came out as you can see below:

still a bit of filling and sanding to do but i'm pretty pleased with the outcome

I've recently put down a deposit on a MK1 VRS which i'm super happy about! 54 plate, 42,000 on the clock, full service history, parking sensors and owned is 2007 by an elderly couple so it's in amazing condition!

Hopefully i'll be picking that up next week some time!
