what!! blimey they take a while to fix the car. so 2 weeks plus? that's unacceptable in my books, i had my octavia (Very badly damaged) done in 4 days by my local bodyshop.

Lol

Denis - get ur act 2gether man!

U starting to repeat urself! :-)

I suppose if there was something my Audrey can do, and the Audi cant then i would be worry.

But happy to continue to put the miles on the Audi.

Plus no SQUEAKS!

(Lord, thank you!)

  • It's taken me a week to read this thread after my own Superb purchase! I can only say how gutted I am you sold Audrey! It was like a soap opera I didn't want to end. What am I going to do tomorrow?!

  • That's one hell of an aerial on the back there!...

  • It's not an aerial; it's the pole that makes contact with the ceiling grid.

Latest from Claims dept my car will be ready on the 24th?

Rediculous Wayne

As I said to you on WhatsApp..You need to ring them and find out whats going on

okay i am not trying to be annoying but the 24th is 11 days away and they want to have the car a total of 25 days!! , that is unacceptable, you really need to phone the garage wayne and even better and go down and look at the car. really Wayne no mucking around it shouldn't take anywhere near this long for the intended work,

+1

It is unacceptable Wayne

Getting parts is usually the problem here, I remember a member in the past waited 2 months for some parts to get their accident damaged Octavia back.

Lol

Thanks for the concerns guys!

Esp Denis and Chris.

But i find it acceptable :-)

Sorry to not agree.

But i mean, wot is the rush?

But as i said to Chris,

Yeah - i will be worried whn the Audi goes back and i still hav no Audrey :-(

Yes yes!

The claims dept said something abt waiting for parts!

But, wots strange was the Claims dept said Audrey only booked in today for repair?!!!

That i had a courtesy car for 2 weeks because their inspection

reveal Audrey was not fit for the road ...

At least you've got a decent car. While The Don was undergoing some bodywork repairs recently, they gave me a purple Peugeot 107. It was more of a DIScourtesy car. Good job it was only for five days.

Cheers Ned!

That period of time doesn't surprise me. My decent local repair shop has an 8-week waiting list for new work.

Latest:

Audrey should be ready this week!

Will I be out of pocket?

I had some form of Daewoo when my Superb went in - truly shocking.

Never believe deadlines that bodyshops give you, they are always wrong!

Still got my Audi! :-)

Have meetings in Sheffield and Ossett on Wed/Thur -

So more miles on Audi ( and less on Audrey :-)

this is actually laughable how long its taking, have you had a defo (or close enough) date to when the superb will be back?

  • Author

Claims Dept confirmed it will be this Friday.

They seem to be quite clear - since its them that giving the bill to the other party s insurer.

oh well, do you need to brim the Audi's tank before you hand it back?

Yes - so to speak.

Wotever I used, I fill-up back...

Someone on here said FREE fuel on courtesy car?

I don't get it?
