I found my Superb: She's called Audrey!

Featured Replies

The Audi's are always solidly built and you will probably find the plastics, cloth and leather are of a better finish and quality than the Skodas.

However, value for money and the Skoda Superb will of course win.

Don't go to the dark side Chan - resist the temptation.

  • It's taken me a week to read this thread after my own Superb purchase! I can only say how gutted I am you sold Audrey! It was like a soap opera I didn't want to end. What am I going to do tomorrow?!

  • That's one hell of an aerial on the back there!...

  • It's not an aerial; it's the pole that makes contact with the ceiling grid.

I agree !

In the past!

Just realised the plastic in the Audi 12-plate is really tacky! Eeek!

New Audi looks lovely, i do agree much when you mention that in the audi you can see the indicator flash on the wing mirror from the interior, every year i drive my sister and her husband to the airport every year in her car, and then take it back to my house and leave it at the top of the drive for 2 weeks or so, she has a 60 plate polo bluemotion 1.2 TDI and it has the same mirror/indicator setup as the audi and i must say it is a feature that i approve of highly, back to topic, hope the superb comes back to you in excellent conditon!

The new Octavia has the same mirror repeaters, I'd guess if the Superb doesn't get them on the facelift then it'll get them on the mk3.

If you think the Audi is cheep to run Chan try specing one up the same as Audrey and seeing the price to buy! Also factor in the price of the chiropractor for your back ache. :)

This review of the 2012 Audi A4 S-Line 1.8 TFSI 170bhp agrees with me

that the interior is just not upto normal Audi standards!

I like the Audi ! Eeek!

No news from Skoda :-(

I find Audi quite like little touches.

- see outside mirror indicators

- little compartment within glove (i hide my garage fob in there)

- booth net storage right size for my 15eggs!

Obviously overall still no competition for Audrey!

I love the petrol!

you should phone them and ask how the car is getting on, i would personally go to the garage and look at it, as some of them can tell a load of rubbish over the phone, hope its getting on okay

well i know how i'd feel if it was my car had been in an accident so nice to show some consideration, but when my car is in the garage i like constant updates as to the progress of the job, when my last octavia was in getting some major bodywork repairs done it was in for 5 days that involved, new bumper, new tail light, pulling rear quarter out, filling it, paint ETC, and every day i phoned for updates and went down to the garage twice to see what had been done

and they done a good job
