  • Ta da. This happened this afternoon, I'm very pleased it.     Luckily I was able to pull off the main road and stop at the right time. My Maths was obviously right when I reset the trip.

  • I had to do this once I realised it was possible.............(i.e. I hadn't passed the mileage yet, so could reset the T1):

  • TaDa     As you can see I've dusted too! :p

It normally does 25mpg upto 5 miles but I was lifting and coasting approaching the numerous roundabouts.

My diesel hit 7,777 miles a couple of weeks ago as I got to work but not been able to post any photo's on here since October. Just throws me out of whatever section I'm in when I try to select a photo. Not the end of the world though a small 1st world tech issue.

I've just tried it on your behalf and didn't have any problems - you still have 140Mb of free data available.

Maybe try clearing browser caches or a different browser, logging off/on etc as I don't believe it's an issue at this side.

Was at work yesterday and realised I had missed 12345.6km's, then at the end of a break I finally got around to changing to miles etc and setting up dash how I wanted it and by pure chance when stopped later on, I glanced down and BOOM!

Sadly, due to doing 70 down the M40 when It ticked over I couldn’t get the photo bang on, but last night the Rapid passed the 50,000 mile mark.

For context, this is a January 2014 (63 plate) Rapid Spaceback, one of the very first off the line and one of the first in the UK. I bought it in September 2014 as an ex-demonstrator with 6,500 on the clock. It’s had a gradually decreasing annul mileage, with me doing a 70 mile a day round trip from North West London to near Basingstoke every day for work, to being mostly used just at weekends and evenings for short trips, to not being used much at all during lockdown. Pre-lockdown my annual mileage had dropped to less than 5,000, so there should be many years left in the car.

Just think if no one had ever used the trip reset button from when it was built! 😝

That'd be cool, but I've had the battery disconnected too many times for that one. :D

Where's all the high mileage people gone?! 😜

Not doing anywhere near as many miles as I used to. Missed the 214k mark but happened to catch the palindrome as I stopped to fill up and reset the trip.

No, my EML isn't on, I was stopped at the time.

The Ford has 47 miles to go to his 30K miles and the Octy less. Not moved either since Friday as I CBA and am off work.
